Pete has buried many of the Robles family. Literally. Though he recently retired in 2008, he worked for the City of Douglas overseeing Calvary Cemetery for 30 years. He knew without consulting a plat map of the cemetery or records exactly where family was buried when I arrived looking to research gravesites in July of 2008. And believe me there are thousands of people buried there. Without Pete, I would have wandered around for awhile under the searing sun. It made me feel good to know that Pete has been there all these years keeping a watchful eye on so many of the family. And Rufus, too.
