The revolution is here! RRD has developed the most exciting and performance driven range of slalom boards to ever hit the windsurfing market. The all-new X-Fire V4 sets a new standard in slalom sailing with the introduction of the ‘TT Tail’ ( stands for TORO TAIL ), the next generation of design concepts that will take the world by storm. Fire Storm LTD

“Enthusiastically fast and fun” The firestorm line is the latest addition to our great freeride family. Based on the scooprocker of the X-fire boards, the thinner volume configuration and the narrower tail allow these designs to be competitive boards with burning accelerations after jibes , but also great pleasant comfortable freeriding machines! The real GranTurismo line of windsurfing!

FEATURES

Each board has different length and width to accommodate the appropriate balance of the average rigs you are going to use on them.

Simple V with double concave bottom and a slight flat vee tail release bottom simplify the water dynamics and create a very effective, sharp feeling of compact and fast boards in any conditions. Great 8 mms deck pads with extra moulded grip, a fantastic fast G -10 CNC RC 2 Maui Fin company fin with power base and superior Dakine Primo straps complete the package!

Firerace W-Tech V3 “NON STOP R&D” PROGRAM

Freerace

FEATURES

They come with new more rounded and wider nose area in order to allow a thinner volume distribution forward and keep a relative thicker shape further back.

This, in combination with a wider tail at one foot off and a more abrupt outline towards to very end, has allowed us to improve planning capacity and also top end speed.

Also the wider cutouts have created better water release off the fin , and a much softer feeling when passing chops. The new shapes never feel sticky even when riding them on heavy chops with big sails.

The 102 has been improved with wider tail cutouts to allow a better water release and keep the nose a bit higher over the water.

The 90 have been slightly modified with a bit more V in the very end of the tail to improve jibing and handling in strong winds.

TECHNOLOGY

EPS/ HD Glass/ Wood sandwich skin on top and bottom with a Glass crossed fibers laminated in Single Shot moulding process.

Wassup Wood V2 WASSUP stands for Windsurf AS SUP . This is what we call the water bike for future generations.

The wassup line is composed of 5 different shapes to cover all possible rider’s use. All boards are equipped with a mast foot insert.

The line has been renewed with totally new 4 shapes, the 8’5”,9’0”,10’ and the 10’5”. The 11’ remains the same unbeatable shape !

The Wassup line V2 is now available with 2 x new technologies: Classic: EPS moulded core covered by biaxial glass fibers on deck and bottom , sandwich wood veneer standing area with composite omega stringers. Gloss finish on the deck and matt bottom.

Wood: EPS moulded core covered by a full sandwich wood veneer layer on top and bottom, glossy finished with tranparent UV resistant eopxy resin . Simply an RRD masterpiece.

Evolution MKVI

“A pure freeride experience” The sixth generation of the first RRD sail ever produced . Making every change with only one thing in mind : easiness of rigging and trimming, comfortable to ride and with plenty of low end.

The first approach has been the one to re-design the sail from a scratch, to make it more modern, with lots of new features depending on each size and type of use, yet true to its core: EASY , POWERFUL, FUN. The new Evolution MKIV comes in 5 different sizes to cover all aspects of freeriding: 8.0/7.2/6.4/5.7/5.0 Every size has its own outline and batten configuration: 8.0 , 6 battens configuration: long clew cutout to reduce the boom length to the max. In this size you need a sail that is closer to a freerace sail, still maneuverable, but mostly powerful and with good top end speed.

7.2 , 6 battens configuration: mid length clew cutout to reduce the boom length to a compact size . A perfect mix of acceleration , manouverabilty and low end power.

6,4 , 6 battens configuration: small clew cutout to slightly reduce the boom length so it’s juts right . The central size of the program that handles good amount of wind, manouvers like a proper freeride sail/ bump and jump, and still delivers pleasure of great speed in any winds.

5.7 and 5.0 , 5 battens configuration: No clew cutout . You just want to have all that boom length to get a bit of back hand pressure when you get underpowered.

Lighter, more alive than any other sizes of the program these two sizes are there to be used both as allround freeride sails for lightweight sailors, or to be used on SUP boards .

“The first RRD inflatable SUP board” The first RRD inflatable SUP board.

Designed and built to be used everywhere, by anyone.

Using a great new improvement on the deisgn of the two PVC skins and the inner cores, you can inflate the board up to 18 psi ( 1,2 bars) making the boards really nice and stiff.

Using two side fins of 7 cms and one US box single fin of 19 cms , you an really have a feeling not only of paddling straight for cruising, but also ride the first small waves.

A great new board technology that will make a big impact on the future of our sports.
