SCHOOL NEWS RMS Careers Convention Thank you to everyone who supported our Careers Convention last night, especially to those of you who took time out of your busy schedules to man stands and answer questions from our girls and from students from other schools too. As you can see from the photos, the event was very well attended and we hope that those of you who attended found it useful. If you have any comments about the event, please do get in touch with us. Thank you!

CHARITY NEWS On Tuesday 1st May, we received an award from the local branch of the Royal British Legion in recognition of 60 years of fundraising for the Poppy Appeal. The School, represented by Charity Co-ordinator Mrs Knight, Deputy Head Girl for Charities Caitlin Finnan and Charities Secretary Rosie Narden, was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for our fundraising efforts over the years. The award was presented by Councillor Diana Barber, Chair of the Three Rivers District Council. This year the school contributed towards the Rickmansworth Area's total of ÂŁ16,771.48 for the Remembrance Appeal. In the last 7 years, we have raised in the region of ÂŁ10,000 for the Appeal. Mrs Knight said "We are delighted that the efforts of both our students and the wider school community have been recognised in this way, and we look forward to continuing to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause in the years to come"

CHARITY NEWS Congratulations to EVERYONE who has helped the School raise a staggering £17,215.86 for this year’s School Charity SANE (www.sane.org.uk). Special thanks go to our outgoing Deputy Head Girls for Charities Caitlin and Elizabeth who, with their Charity Committee, have worked tirelessly all year to think up ideas, promote them around the School—and count the money afterwards! We look forward to seeing which charity the School will support next—and how much we manage to raise for them next year! Thank you to Antalia and Jo from SANE who came to School today to receive the cheque and contribute to our Assembly.
