About Us Nabarro are a leading commercial law firm with offices in London, Sheffield, Brussels and Singapore. We offer extensive legal services to national and international clients. The working culture at Nabarro is open, friendly and highly professional. Our practice areas include: Banking & Finance, Construction, Corporate, Employment, Insolvency, Intellectual Property, Planning, Real Estate and Tax law among others. Our comprehensive three week vacation scheme is designed to give students a taste of what life is really like as a trainee at Nabarro. You will remain in one department for the duration of the scheme allowing you to build relationships with your team and experience real work and responsibility. You will be assigned a supervisor and a buddy who will ensure you are exposed to a wide variety of work and you will also complete a project alongside the other summer students. We arrange a number of breakfast briefings during the scheme to enable you to find out about more about the firm as well as a variety of social events. This year’s social events included a pub quiz, an Olympics tour, a networking event and a dinner with some of our partners. By the end of the three weeks students will have a clear idea of life as a commercial solicitor and the culture of the firm. We are three time winners of the ‘Best undergraduate internship/vacation scheme’ at the Target National Graduate Recruitment awards and were the 2011 winners of ‘The best short-term insight scheme’ at the National Placement and Internship Awards.
We aim to recruit more than 85% of our trainees through our summer scheme and take on 35 trainees per year; 30 in London and 5 in Sheffield. Each trainee undertakes 6 four month seats ensuring exposure to the firm’s core practice and specialist areas. Trainees return to the seat they will qualify into for their final rotation, ensuring a smooth transition from Trainee to Associate.
