The studio was begun within the courtyard of the U-House and required imaging, alongside the family that once grappled with their relentless containment, how it could be inhabited. The weekly instruction of a ‘cabinet’ was a conceptual apparatus that opened the possibility of a collective, familial, and potentially intimate occupation. The studio was a ‘cabinet’ that held the U House wall, but could hold within, could be held against, and pointed to what could hold out.
