HOME: Branson, MO (Taney County)

In January 2021, Noelle’s water broke at only

32 weeks pregnant. Two days later, Nolan decided that he could not wait any longer to see the world, and he dragged his reluctant brother out with him. Nolan and Rowan were two whole months early but were determined to thrive in the Springfield Cox NICU, almost forty minutes from home. Clayton had to return to work shortly after the birth, but the Ronald McDonald House provided a “home-away-fromhome” for Noelle so she could be near the boys during their 45-day NICU stay. All Noelle needed was a place to rest and shower in between cares for the boys, but the House provided an entire 2nd room and a fridge where she could store pumped breast milk. The best part was that the staff allowed Clayton to stay during his days off, as well. The 45 days in NICU seemed never-ending but RMH helped provide a safe and comforting atmosphere while the family waited to be together in their own home. Currently, Noland and Rowan are thriving and Noelle and Clayton are so thankful for RMH allowing them to stay so close to the Springfield NICU to better learn how to care for their premature miracles. Thank you, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Springfield House Staff! We miss you!
