The Trumpet is a free publication of RESURRECTION HOUSE FOR ALL NATIONS, a multicultural, nondenominational, full gospel, Christian ministry committed to preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with Resurrection Power.

Beloved, We welcome all our new readers to this edition of The Trumpet entitled, “Revival Fire.” We believe God is calling all of us to repentance in this season of apostasy. An apostate people or church is a generation that rejects the Word of God and trumps it with personal opinion. Tolerance is the current mantra. The goal is equality for all Americans. Even the church, in so many quarters, is on board with the rationalization that it is a civil right for everyone to have the same rights and benefits in society. Nobody seems concerned with the spiritual implications of these decisions. Proverbs 14:34: Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Let us remember that, as a nation, we removed God from our schools. What has been the result? We are lagging behind in education. Crime, gun violence, and all kinds of psychological disorders exist among our children. Test scores have plummeted, and discipline issues have almost become unmanageable. Behavioral issues are being managed by Ritalin and similar drugs. Children are allowed to get abortions without parental consent, yet they can’t get aspirin without a parent’s approval. Condoning such activities is like putting our seal of approval on promiscuity and cohabitation. Are we concerned that the judgment of God will fall on us for these things? Has anyone even considered history to see that we are traveling along the same path as all the great nations that destroyed themselves because of moral decay and no longer exist? This is a cry for revival. What are we supposed to do? The problems seem insurmountable and complex. In case it is not clear to all of us, we need to recognize this simple truth – no political party can solve the problems in this country. The problems are spiritual, and only God can solve them. The only requirement we have is to personally repent of our sins. God promised that He would revive us, one person at a time. Then, He will connect us to other people who have been revived. Our prayer is that you will contact revival fire through the pages of this issue of The Trumpet. God must awaken His church if this nation is going to be saved. You know your particular sins. Don’t excuse or justify them anymore. Start seeking God for an answer. He promised that He will hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land. May this be your experience today, in the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen. God bless you,

Fire

Rebuilding your personal altar for Divine visitation

by Pastor Chika Onuzo

I

n a recent meeting, the Holy Spirit ministered to my heart that God has begun the process of reviving His church. This revival, He said, would be completely different from past revivals. The earlier ones were more of a movement than personal encounters with God. Most of the people engaged in these movements never really encountered that which birthed the movement. The moment the leaders stumbled, the whole movement was breached, and no one could explain what happened or how the whole thing fizzled.

In this revival, God will visit each of us and revive our personal altars. Conviction of sin will return to us. Those tears of repentance and the joy of finding Him again will flood our hearts and minds. This revival will end up becoming a movement; however, the difference will be that only the people who have encountered God will be involved in it. It will not be because someone else was visited by God, and we flocked to attend their meetings. No! We will have individual testimonies of personal encounters with God. We are linked up by the force of the Spirit in our hearts that 2

have awakened us from our slumber and we are able to love God again with all our hearts.

Wow, Beloved! What a refreshing that will be. All the depression and oppression will be gone. The joy of the Lord will be our strength. We will not struggle anymore to pray or read our Word. Church attendance will be a joy. We will be filled with life. We will not be able to get enough of God. I can hear some of you wondering, “Is this possible? Will God really do this in this season of our lives? Yes, Beloved. He will do it, and it is happening as we write this. My prayer is that the same fire and Glory will fall upon you as you follow the message of this article with all your heart; and that you will be revived, in the mighty name of Jesus. The road to this revival is paved with two major inputs that come from you and God. God is not going to revive you by Himself. You have to face some things in your life to cause that fire to fall on you.

the

STEP 1 - Diagnose Yourself

STEP 2 - Make Your Comeback

DISCOVER THE ROOT The first step is to diagnose yourself. What happened to me? This is the number one question to answer. Do you remember when you loved God with all your heart? There was nothing you wouldn’t do for Him. What happened to you?

RETURN TO YOUR FIRST LOVE Jesus’ message to the Ephesian church in Revelations, chapter 2:1-3, gives us an understanding: “Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.”

Here is a short list to get you started. You can add to this list if nothing written here relates to your situation: • You were disappointed in so many ways with people. • You were wounded in church because while you were serving, people did not recognize and appreciate you. When it mattered, nobody cared. • Your grandmother (or grandfather) who you were so close to, passed away; and nobody, including the pastor, reached out to you. • You had a financial need, and the church refused to help you. • Strife developed between you and some close friends over some issue that should not have escalated to that level. • You got divorced. Your husband or wife had an affair. • You got tired of waiting on the Lord for a mate, so you went back to sin in order to have companionship. Now, you cannot find God. • A friend you confided in betrayed your confidence. All of a sudden, your business was all over the church. • Your children got into strife with the children of another family. You expected that you could have resolved it; but unfortunately, neither of the parents were willing to see the truth. Everybody supported their children. • After years of serving God and being in church, your life seems to have gone nowhere. • You grew tired of serving God, and old habits and sins crept back into your life. Some of us have returned to smoking and drinking. • A leader you held in such high esteem fell into sin, and it devastated you. Now, you feel like you can never trust again. Even though you experienced some of these things, you may be saying that you still do not feel as if they matter that much; unfortunately, you did not even recognize your heart closed up. You stopped making sacrifices because you only see people and all their flaws. You don’t see God at all. Your heart waxed cold. You slipped into the habit of not doing things completely. Bitterness and unforgiveness have taken their toll.

Just like the believers in the Ephesian church, you have been faithful in so many ways. You are doctrinally sound. You are intolerant of sin, and you speak of compromising Christians with disdain and anger. You have dealt with false preachers, and you have even labored in the ministry. However, while you have been on target regarding so many things, the enemy stole your heart away from the Lord. You lost your first love. Though you are right, you are filled with judgments and unforgiveness. Your heart is hard and unforgiving. In your attempt to stay right, you found yourself in this wrong place. No joy, no fire, and no passion. Jesus commands you to repent and return to doing your first works. What are those? He commands that you remember from whence you fell. Do you remember how it used to be? He says to go back there. The reality is that He says you must do this; otherwise He will come and remove your candlestick, which means that the light of God in your spirit will be extinguished, unless there is repentance. Here are His words to the Ephesian church: “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” – Revelations 2:4-7 BECOME A WILLING SACRIFICE Where do you begin? It may seem overwhelming to you. You picked up the Bible, but you don’t even know where to start reading. The portions you do read don’t speak to you. Everything feels dead because it is. You must find God now and desperately so. continued on page 21

Encountering the

by Elder

La Tanya Onuzo

O O

n a recent Sunday afternoon, the Resurrection House For All Nations Nursing Home Ministry team experienced a mighty move of God. As the team and the nursing home residents began to worship and sing praises, I could sense the presence of God in our midst. The Holy Spirit filled the room, and I could see the Glory of the Lord on each person’s face. The room was saturated with a tangible manifestation of Glory, and a deep level of worship rested heavily in the atmosphere. I was convinced, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that God was going to glorify Himself. I am a firm believer that faith comes from hearing the Word, and I expect signs and wonders to follow the preaching of the Word. I began to minister on the topic of faith from the book of Hebrews, chapter 11: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” – Hebrews 11:1-6 When the message was over, the caretakers began to escort the residents back to their rooms. One of the caretakers stopped me with excitement in her eyes. She shared

with me how her patient, a beautiful elderly woman, had not spoken or opened her eyes since she arrived at the nursing home. All that changed, however, during the worship service. As the RHFAN team sang songs of praise to the Lord, the caretaker said the woman began to clap her hands – something they had NEVER seen her do. I was standing right beside the woman, so I put my arm around her shoulder and said, “When you begin to praise and worship God, pray for me.” Why would I utter these words to a woman whose caretaker just said she had not spoken since she arrived? God only knows. The woman did not respond to what I said, nor did she even look in my direction. One of my daughters in the Lord who came with me that day said, “First Lady, lay your hands on her and pray.” I did, and as the woman and her caregiver walked away, the woman spoke and said boldly to the caregiver, “Let’s go.” What? Could this be true? The caregiver screamed and exclaimed, “She talked! She talked!” As she was screaming “she talked” for the third time, the woman opened her eyes! We all screamed and cried for joy – we had encountered the Glory of the Living God, and we witnessed His miracle working power firsthand. So this we know for sure: The Glory of God healed and delivered at least one nursing home resident that day! As we worshipped God in Spirit and in truth, we encountered the physical manifestation of God’s Glory. Encounters like this are not isolated incidents reserved for a select few. They are available to all who will believe. We know this to be true because the Bible is not an old history book chronicling miraculous encounters that were only commonplace when Jesus walked the earth. No! No! No! They are not rare or non-existent occurrences. The Bible is the living Word and we serve a living God. We can encoun-

the

There is More to This Life.

Are you ready to truly live and encounter the Glory of Jesus Christ? Simply confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He rose from the dead. Say this prayer aloud: Father, forgive me of all my sins. I admit that I am a sinner in need of salvation. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your only begotten Son. He died on the cross for me. He went to hell and defeated satan and rose again from the dead. Today, I ask You, Lord Jesus, to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit that I may have the power to live for You. By faith, I declare You, Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord. Amen. If you’ve said this prayer and desire further ministry, call us at 770-994-3777. We would love to hear from you and pray with you. God bless you.

ter His Glory today. Moreover, just like Jesus and His apostles, we have been commissioned to heal the sick and deliver those who are hurting. All we have to do is believe. For the Word of God says in John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

Just like Jesus and His apostles, we have been commissioned to heal the sick and deliver those who are hurting. All we have to do is believe.

Are you prepared to do greater works in 2013? Do you expect God to use you to work miracles in the lives of others? Miracles happened during the times of the Apostles, and they are still happening today. In fact, I believe the miracle I witnessed in the nursing home is not just a one-time, flashin-the-pan experience. No, I believe that we will have many more encounters with the Glory of the living Christ and I trust Him to work even more miracles in us and through us. If people were healed simply by standing in the shadow of Peter (Acts 5:15), then surely it is possible for people to be healed in the same manner today.

It’s time for us to raise our level of expectation and take the limits off of God. If you will only believe and ask God to allow you to encounter the Glory of the living Christ, He won’t disappoint you. I promise. 

What the Planning and Execution of One Event Teaches About Living Gloriously

“ Make it Glorious.” by Myia House

January 20, 2013. The air was electric. The atmosphere charged with excitement. The joy was palpable. The manifest presence, the Glory of God, swirled all over this massive banquet hall teeming as if it were bejeweled with nearly 700 elegantly dressed guests gathered to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Resurrection House for All Nations (RHFAN). It was such a glorious sight, a fulfillment of the promises of God, the triumph of faith over immense obstacles, a literal manifestation of the command of God to make it a glorious celebration. The staging was equally magnificent, studded with colored lights, beautiful banners magnifying the names of God, and professional speakers to guarantee an awesome evening in Word and song. All of this was a statement to say we are ready to celebrate the goodness of our God. God has indeed manifested His Glory. We are living epistles, giving testimony to His majesty and power in the life, ministry and destiny of His vision – Resurrection House for All Nations. How did we get to this magnificent evening? If you know anything about us, you will know our history of how God has wrought so many powerful

miracles on our behalf over the years. Just to name a few, He held our Church building for seven years through 21 failed contracts just for us to purchase it, changed a 100-year-old law to allow us to operate as a ministry in our location, and enabled us to become and re6

main debt-free. So, each year, we have marked our anniversary with a formal celebration to thank God for His faithfulness and favor. As we prepared to celebrate our 10th year, He gave us a simple, three-word instruction: “Make it Glorious.” We had no clue then what to do, but we’ve learned over the years to press into the presence of God; wait to hear from Him; and then, once we hear, obey Him. As often happens with instruction from God, He tells us one step, and as we obey, He reveals another until the thing is accomplished. This article chronicles how it all unfolded. And as we reflect on the amazing power of God to do exceedingly beyond what we could ever hope for, we pray that you are encouraged to keep believing and following Him on your own amazing journey.

discount. We paid cash for it all, without raising a single penny from the congregation. All we had to do was to be willing to obey God, wait for His plan to be revealed, then march right through the open door. Glory to God!

Buy Your Own Equipment

Whenever we rent a large banquet hall for our celebration, we have to rent the audio and lighting equipment to accommodate the space. Over the years, as you can imagine, we’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars doing this. However, the Lord instructed us this time to purchase our own equipment. What a leap of faith. The speakers, amplifiers, microphones, mixing board and lights of the professional quality we desired are not cheap. But God had a plan in the works that was revealed in the most unexpected and ordinary way. One day, Pastor Chika was having a casual conversation with one of his sons in the ministry and he mentioned that a vendor in New York reached out to him and offered to sell him professional equipment at a discount. He did not need this person’s services, but he was convinced in his spirit that this information was for RHFAN. Little did he know, that was the answer we needed. We contacted this vendor and at the end of it all, we were able to purchase all the necessary equipment at a 35%

Prepare for 600 Guests

Historically, our best banquet attendance was right around 325 people. You can imagine our shock when God said to prepare for 600 people. 600 people? Where were they going to come from? But we continued on in faith, making arrangements for a space to accommodate that many. Ticket sales went very slow. A few weeks before the banquet, we were barely past 200 tickets sold. Resisting the logical urge to downgrade our expected numbers, we soldiered on, making catering arrangements, etc. Because we refused to back down and decided to move forward, believing God to manifest the 600, something miraculous happened in those weeks leading up to the banquet. God worked on the hearts of everyone associated with or that had supported our ministry over the years. Our members were get-

the ting tickets for groups of their friends; our pastor friends were purchasing tables for their guests. We even had people flying in from out of town just to be a part of the celebration. And before we knew it, we had sold nearly 700 tickets! We far exceeded the 600 that seemed

The anointed ministry of Vicki Yohe

impossible for us to reach in the first place! Wow! Now, instead of being concerned about having too much space and food, we were praying we had enough. (We did, by the way.) Has God asked you to believe Him for something that seems impossible? Are you struggling to stay in faith and reject doubt and unbelief? We can certainly testify that He is faithful. Keep going, keep believing Him. If He said it, it will come to pass. You have to ignore what the data and facts before you say. You even have to ignore your own emotions. Instead, hold on to His promises. Your breakthrough is straight ahead.

The Seed Sown

While praying about how to make this celebration glorious, we knew we had to book a worship artist with some notoriety to minister at the banquet. The question was who? We reached out to the agents of many of today’s most popular Gospel artists. The response we received was disappointing. Some agents requested tens of thousands of dollars, with contracts stipulating that a maximum of three songs would be performed. Now we believe a laborer is worthy of his hire, but some of these contracts were outrageously expensive. And we didn’t want a restrictive, contrived performance. No! We desired someone who would freely lead us in a worship experience. Amid this disappointment, Pastor Chika asked the question, “Lord, is there anyone who still loves You out there, who will minister for You and not for mammon?” He would soon get an answer. www.rhfan.com

The Lord had instructed Pastor to sow a seed to a charity that truly served the needy. With a family of his own to care for and two daughters in college, he didn’t know how he could afford to make this sacrifice. However, he decided to obey God and sought the Lord on which charity to give to. One day his wife, Elder LaTanya, walked into the room and just casually mentioned, “You know Vicki Yohe has an orphanage.” She had no idea that Pastor was praying about a charity to sow into. Immediately, he felt in his spirit, “That’s it!” At once, he had found the charity and the worship artist for the banquet. Miraculously, no sooner than he wrote the check to Yohe’s New Destiny Orphanage in Uganda, someone gave him a gift that covered the seed sown. God had truly provided seed to the sower. During her anointed ministry at the banquet, Vicki Yohe testified, “Your Pastor hears from God. The gift we received from him was almost to the dollar the amount we desperately needed to cover expenses that month.” Hallelujah! In this exchange, God had both glorified Himself and shown us how His Kingdom works. Vicki Yohe ministered and demonstrated to us the art of personal worship. Worship is our access point. It is how we fellowship with the Almighty God. It is us affirming the greatness and Lordship of our God over our lives. Worship is the key to discovering and living out God’s will for our lives. While you are waiting on your promise to manifest, don’t forget to worship.

A Word for the Future

The event was more than we could have dreamed, more than we thought was possible. God had required a great sacrifice of faith, and we know He visited us that evening and consumed the sacrifice. That was a wonderful culmination to a week of celebration which began with the ministry of Apostle Kevin Barber of BACA Christian Center in Richmond, TX. During Sunday morning service, on the day of the banquet, he delivered a prophetic Word to us. He said, “God has given you supernatural strength.” Then that night at the banquet, in his remarks, Pastor Michael Adebiyi of Jubilee Christian Church In-

ternational in Stone Mountain, GA said, “God has given you the strength to go the distance.” Wow. The Word was confirmed. This was so significant to us. While we had accomplished many of the things we set out to do in our first ten years, God has revealed so many other great plans that will require supernatural strength and grace to accomplish. To hear that God had made supernatural strength available to us was a boost to our faith.

Live Gloriously

As we’ve learned over the years, God is into blessing us exponentially. You can see in this single testimony of the planning and execution of our 10th anniversary banquet how one blessing led to another, which led to another, which led to another, and so on until we experienced an explosion of Glory. However, all of this was precipitated by a willingness to obey God and to trust that He has a plan in spite of the uncertainty. Don’t read this as a singular testimony. Let’s make it personal. Has God asked you to do something that you feel is beyond you? Has He revealed a future for you that you have no clue how to reach? Better yet, you know He desires for us to labor for His Kingdom, but have you been unable to see your place in it yet? Take note of the lessons we learned here and live your life gloriously, meaning, allow God to glorify Himself in you and through you. You won’t find God in the doldrums of doubt and unbelief. No! You’ll discover He’s in the realm of faith and expectation, ever ready to carry you from Glory to Glory. Learn to press into His presence. Worship Him, exalt Him, make Him Lord of your life. You will gain access to the realm of the Spirit and you will hear from Him. Once you hear from Him, obey Him and you will experience Glory. So, go ahead, dream big, hold on to that vision, expect greater and greater things. He will give you the strength to go the distance, and He will always, always exceed what you could ever hope for. 

Rebuilding our altars

Reclaiming America

for God

“If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

by Angela Wood s you read today’s headlines and listen to the 6 o’clock news, you are bound to believe the world is out of control, the government is running amuck, and the current generation is headed for destruction; and from the looks of things, you’re absolutely right. Yet be encouraged. God is also moving mightily among His people, and He is telling today’s prophets exactly what to do to change our cities, our nation, and our world. In fact, in the midst of the hustle and bustle of downtown Atlanta last year, Pastor Chika Onuzo asked saints throughout the city to join him on the steps of the Georgia State Capitol on Good Friday to consecrate and erect a righteous altar, repent of our personal and collective sins, and pray for our city and our state. Just as the priests of old, he was instructed to transform the concrete space between Washington Street and Trinity Avenue into a place of worship. Armed with a fiery Word for the Lord, he and local ministers pulled down strongholds, and hallowed the ground with anointing oil.

A

Perhaps you were a casual onlooker who happened to pass by the golden capped Capitol that day, and you were pleasantly surprised to see worship taking place in a public, governmental space. Or maybe you were with the woman who heard Pastor Chika thundering words of exaltation throughout the streets, and walked for blocks following the sound of his voice until she finally reached the “altar” at the steps of the Capitol. Or maybe you were among that group of tourists who found themselves shoulder to shoulder with people passionately praying for our elected officials, our judicial system, our economy, our school systems, and our military. If you were anywhere near that solemn assembly that day, your outlook about the nation changed, and your hope was restored. 8

You probably had no idea that a singular event could cause a quantum shift to take place in this country. Perhaps you didn’t even realize God could give a modern-day man a vision for an entire nation. Sure, you’ve read in the Bible about how Elijah rebuilt the altar at Mount Carmel, and you are familiar with how his simple act of obedience created a ripple effect in the nations (1 Kings 18:39); but you would never have imagined in a thousand years that fire would come down, and that Godly fear would return to the house of the Lord in your lifetime. God is causing us to believe again; and in the spirit realm, He is creating a network of “watchmen” who are erecting righteous altars to bring our cities, our nation and our world back to Christ. One year after marking Good Friday as the day RHFAN will urge saints of God to meet at the Capitol to take America back, Pastor Chika says, “I met a man who took me to his website after he heard my testimony about our prayer at the steps of the Capitol, the Resurrection Parade and the Rally. I was shocked to learn that three years ago, God commissioned him to travel to all 50 states to raise an altar unto God at the steps of each Capitol. God promised him that as he did so, He would raise up people locally to begin this every year until it becomes a weekly event.” God is truly doing a miraculous work in us and through us. When altars are repaired, God judges wickedness in the land; and when the Spirit of God touches the earth, a new season begins. This is what happened in the days of Elijah. This is what is happening throughout the United States. The man raised an altar in Atlanta three years ago, and God commissioned Pastor Chika to erect one for the State of Georgia last year on March 30, 2012. This is surely the beginning of Revival Fire. By the grace of God, we will meet on those steps yearly, and God will help us take America back from the hands of the enemy. So be encouraged. Change is on the way. 

The Parade consisted of a motorcade of floats depicting the story of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection interspersed by miles of cars decorated with personal testimonies of God’s faithfulness in the lives of believers. Signs testifying healing from drugs, heartbreak, homelessness, debt, bitterness and unbelief lined the streets. The walls of Jericho fell with a shout because the Glory of God had penetrated what was once impenetrable. This is why we conclude the Resurrection Parade with a PRAISE RALLY as a celebration of our own modern day Jericho victory. Just as the children of Israel marched around Jericho and the walls fell, we believe strongholds were broken over our land as we paraded His Glory through the City. This year, God gave us the revelation to expand our borders and rally in Piedmont Park. We arrived with a mission – show the people the love of Christ. So we canvased the park, giving out popcorn and bottled water. We also offered prayer and encouragement. Many people joined us later in an exuberant worship celebration featuring our praise team, dance ministries, and Scripture readings. All week long, the weather reports forecasted rain. However, we made a decree that the sun would shine and the rain would wait until we left the park. As proof of God’s faithfulness and further evidence that He called us to do this, we enjoyed beautiful weather at the rally. Not a single drop of rain fell until we had concluded the event, packed up and left. Glory to God! What started as a simple idea at one local church is beginning to take root, and we pray it will become a new Easter tradition for families throughout the city and beyond. Changing the Way We Do Sunday School.... Training Ministers for Jesus Christ.

by Minister Dona Cage & Angela Wood

S

ome of us never attended church as children, but those of us who did have vivid memories – some pleasant and some bittersweet – of our days in Sunday School. Many of us viewed those colorfully decorated classrooms as “holding cells” that our mothers sent us to for 45 minutes so we could stay out of their hair long enough for them to “talk to Jesus.” They worked hard all week, they said, and they wanted to hear an uninterrupted Word from the Pastor! They also wanted to sing along with the choir without us wiggling back and forth in the pew, untying our shoes, or fidgeting with our freshly pressed Sunday clothes. For others, Sunday School was a place of refuge because it kept us from getting nudged in the ribs, pulled by the ear, or tapped with that little ruler Mom never seemed to be without. We longed for freedom from her matriarchal stare that was strong enough to burn a hole in the side of our heads. For those of us who were fortunate enough to attend a Sunday School program where the teachers had a sincere love for God, taught us Bible songs and stories with excitement and enthusiasm, and gave us a little snack at the end of the day for memorizing our Bible passages, Sunday School was like heaven on Earth. In fact, we still give thanks for the seeds of faith they planted in us. I never realized, however, that Sunday School could be a life-changing “God Event” that not only plants seeds of faith and destiny in the lives of the children, but also transforms the adults involved with it, causes their crooked paths to be made straight, and changes their lives forever. Such are the testimonies from those involved with Resurrection House for All Nations’ God’s Farmhouse (GFH) program. On the surface, the program is

10

Children’s Church, Sunday School, and a summer-long Vacation Bible School of sorts all rolled into one; but under the surface, it is so much more! When God commissioned Resurrection House for All Nations, He decreed that this church would be different and would have a unique purpose, mission and covenant. Part of that decree included a vision for the youth, called God’s Farmhouse, which came to Senior Pastor Chika Onuzo directly from the throne of God, to challenge traditional views of Sunday School. Where the best Sunday Schools strive to provide a solid Christian, Biblical and ethical foundation for children, God’s Farmhouse goes a step further because the program seeks to develop the ministry gifts that God has given to each child. In fact, the goal of the program is to produce able ministers for Christ, who, once they move on to college, are developed in their spiritual giftings and talents, fully equipped to bless any congregation with their spiritual maturity and heart to serve. These goals are accomplished by determining each child’s special gifts and then placing them in an instructional program geared toward developing those gifts, along with the grace, strength, and faith that God gives to each of His ministers. The amazing thing is that when the vision of God’s Farmhouse came to Pastor Chika, it was so unique and so different that those given the privilege of organizing it really didn’t know where to start. However, as they moved forward in faith, God began a work in them, as well as developed a program geared toward producing excellence in the children. At the end of last summer’s six-week, full-immersion music program, our newly minted, young music ministers

were able to bless the church through ministry in keyboard, guitar and vocals. Some of the children had never touched an instrument before GFH, and yet, God transformed them. Behaviors and attitudes changed. The young participants truly gained an understanding of praise and worship, and when they ministered, the Glory of God fell on us all. Before we knew it, it was time to transform our Sunday School Program to complement what God had done in the summer. In January 2013, we began a program which combined an hour of Children’s Church geared specifically towards young people, an hour of Sunday School filled with God’s Glory and power, and a 30-minute segment, or a “God’s Farmhouse Station”, devoted to learning a ministry skill. We have expanded from keyboard, guitar and vocals to include drums, audio and video. Our expectation is to include an academic component, which will instill God’s excellence not only in the ministry, but also in the school yard. Minister Nancy Lewis, Director of RHFAN’s Children’s Ministry, believes the program will create long-lasting change and touch many lives. “The God’s Farmhouse staff has the privilege of laying the foundation for a vision that will most certainly be global,” she says. Is it possible to achieve such a daunting task in today’s society, given the bleak reports we are given about this generation? Minister Dona Cage, who is responsible for building the structural foundation for God’s Farmhouse, had this answer, “Not only is it possible, but God has created this program specifically for such a time as this! We are literally preparing the next generation for God. We must be prayerful, diligent and filled with faith to get this important

work accomplished, and we must remember that all that is required is that we yield ourselves totally to God in faith. He will do the work,” says Minister Cage confidently. We thank God for creating this program designed to teach life-changing principles and valuable skills that will train this generation and generations to come how to be ministers used by the Lord to reap souls for the Kingdom in the end time global harvest. To learn more about God’s Farmhouse please contact Minister Dona Cage at 404-936-3550. 

Sister Freda Walker, program director for the God’s Farmhouse Summer Program last year, says: “If I had to give one phrase to sum up the process of God’s Farmhouse, I would say ‘Faith Walk.’ What really surprised me was that initially, I didn’t expect to be transformed in the process. I simply saw it as a summer job. I soon learned that God had much, much more in store for me. When I met with Minister Dona Cage to plan the program, I really didn’t believe we could get it up and running so quickly. I fully expected to get a call the night before the program began to say it was being postponed. When the call didn’t come, I simply had to grit my teeth and move forward in faith. Little did I know that God had everything already set up and arranged for His program. The only thing I was really required to do was to show up and watch Him work His miracles. One of the first lessons I learned is that leadership

in the Kingdom of God is powerful! So much more powerful than leadership in the world. It is not about control or issuing orders. It is so much more about following God and loving people (children) into the right direction. It’s amazing because I thought that leadership in the world was so much more powerful; but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Leading by the Spirit not only empowers the leader, but it also empowers those being led and helps them to develop. GFH prepared me for leadership on my current job as the Fine Arts Department Chair at my school. I can honestly say that I would not have been able to be successful in my new position without the GFH experience. I really learned that leadership is by the Spirit and not by the rules and that we do not have the right to judge others – even if they are ‘wrong.’ God showed me this so clearly. He said, “You’re right. But I’m God.” In other words, He has the

right to give grace to those we are leading, even if we don’t want to extend it. I found discipline in God’s house to be very refreshing. Teaching children with God as the standard was very different from my public school experience. Having God as the standard, made the discipline completely different. Often, all that was needed was a reminder of ‘Whose house’ we were in, and the children would come to order. It was much more about changing their hearts toward God than about teaching them to obey the rules. Most importantly, I learned that God’s way is so much less stressful. I’m not the one responsible for ‘holding back the ocean.’ His way is stress-free because God is in control. I’m trusting God more to make the students what they’re supposed to be. I now understand that my students are becoming, just like I’m becoming. I simply need to sit back and watch God do ‘His thing’.” 

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHTS January - May

New Year’s Eve Watch Night Service

So much has been happening at Resurrection House For All Nations this year. Towards the conclusion of a period of fasting and prayer during the first 21 days of 2013, featuring the ministry of Apostle Kevin Barber of BACA Christian Center in Richmond, TX, we kicked off the year in grand style with our 10th Anniversary Banquet. Nearly 700 people joined us to celebrate our Lord for all the wonderful things He has done. We enjoyed the powerfully anointed worship ministry of Vicki Yohe, and the ministry was awarded 2 proclamations from Union City and the State of Georgia for all the work we are doing to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our community and state. Beyond all of these wonderful things, the highlight of the evening was when we literally enthroned Jesus Christ as the Lord of all in a rousing, stirring ceremony (see pictures on pg. 6).

Marriage Seminar

We held the first MARRIAGE SEMINAR of this year. Over three days, Pastor Chika, Elder La Tanya and leaders in the ministry shared poignant, honest, lifechanging wisdom from God and from their own experiences for both single and married alike. On the last evening, the Glory cloud of God descended on the room. On Friday, March 29, we kicked off our Easter Weekend celebration with the Good Friday PRAYER RALLY held on the steps of the Georgia State Capitol. This is an anointed annual event, led by the Holy Spirit, where we raise an altar unto God and pray for repentance and the healing of our land. We concluded the rally with a victory march around the Capitol building. Stay tuned for more exciting events at RHFAN. Visit us on the web at www.rhfan.com or call 770-9943777 for more details. How trusting God in adversity led to a miraculous invention

by Minister Dona Cage & Janice Billingslea

In the six years since God gave us GloryWorks!, we have been privileged to see 16 new businesses launched, each with their own unique stories and struggles as God strengthens them to cause them to become what He has ordained them to be. His Word to Resurrection House For All Nations is that 40 millionaires would come from this house. Sixteen of us have started our journey with God, but there are more to come.

T

o look at my husband Burrell, you would never know he has suffered from heart complications since 2000. On July 26, 2012, however, our lives changed forever. Burrell was incoherent, and his heart was only pumping at 15% of its normal capacity. He was immediately sent to the Cardiac Care Unit at Piedmont Hospital, and that’s when our journey began. Burrell needed something to help his heart pump properly because it was simply giving out. In August 2012, after going in and out of intensive care, he had an operation to install a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD), a mechanical pump that takes blood from a lower chamber of the heart and helps pump it to the left ventricle, just as a healthy heart does.

During this period, the Lord commissioned me to make a sacrifice to be there for Burrell and to help him maintain his dignity and integrity. He instructed me on what to do and what not to do; and he specifically told me that I was to never make Burrell feel “less than a man.”

We each have our own unique story of God’s grace and miracles in our lives and businesses. With every ounce of grace, with every miracle, He teaches us His way to prosperity; and then we meet and share, pray together and encourage each other to doggedly pursue our destiny.

I was at the hospital every day by 9 a.m., and I stayed with him way into the evening. Our entire family was required to assume new roles and responsibilities, but God endued me with the strength to visit Burrell every day for ninety days. I prayed constantly and consistently. We also prayed together every day, and God gave us a covering that protected us from the discouraging news and negative reports we received daily.

Here is one such story of courage, faith and the blessing that comes with it. God gave Janice Billingslea an amazingly unique million dollar idea in the midst of one of the darkest times in her life. Here’s the story, in her own words.

I can truly say God gave us the “peace that passeth all understanding.” We were also strengthened by the powerful prayers and support we received from our Pastor and First Lady, our church family, and close friends. At the time, I had no idea God would use this experience and the relationships we developed in the hospital to

www.rhfan.com

birth an invention in me that has the potential to transform LVAD communities around the world. We also know God wants to use us both to tell others how good and how faithful He is.

The Vision for Our Witty Invention

As my husband progressed through his ordeal, The Lord also reminded me of the compassion He has on his children, and I developed a deep sense of compassion and love for my husband. I did my best to be there and advocate for him on a daily basis. One thing that I noticed was that I did not like the way the equipment he was required to wear following his LVAD surgery looked, or how it made him slump over. I prayed for God to give me an idea for something more practical that would be a blessing to my husband. God responded immediately. He gave me a vision for a “witty idea” to conceal and distribute the weight of the equipment more evenly, and supernaturally give Burrell better mobility. Amazingly, everything I needed to design, create and promote the invention came to me so easily. This is a miracle in and of itself because when I was trying to develop my training business years ago, these same tasks were extremely hard for me to do, even though I have years of experience in that field. In fact, it seemed that no matter how hard I tried, I simply could not move forward. This time, with the Wind of God at my back,I did not need any outside assistance at all. I didn’t even think to ask for it. God carried me every step of the way, and I was so excited.

God gave GloryWorks! to Resurrection House for All Nations as a means to activate His promise of prosperity for His children in dark economic times. This entrepreneurial ministry is designed to teach God’s principles of doing business, thereby fortifying faith and thrusting believers into a supernatural realm where His Glory, rather than their ‘know how’ creates solid business results. God’s form of success brings not only riches, but it also brings wisdom and compassion for others because He teaches us how to love our brothers and sisters, who may never have seen inside the four walls of a church. His plan is that they will be drawn by His success in us, and that they too may be saved and experience the same blessings.

Now, our patent for the design is pending and we already have a line of customers, who God lined up during the 90 days we spent in the hospital. He gave us the idea, the way to do it, and did all the marketing for us. Amazing! We thank God for His faithfulness. continued on page 21

SACRIFICE

achery “Zack” Lane, a senior lineman at Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Ga., gave an electrifying testimony on the covenant of sacrifice at RHFAN’s Youth Sunday service recently. Throughout spring training, he questioned whether football practice was “wasted time” because in the previous years, he had never even touched the field during a varsity game. However, after continuous prayer, He asked God for a covenant, and God didn’t thunder a long and complicated response. He simply said, “Sacrifice.” “Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” — Psalms 50:5 Zack was ecstatic. God had given him a covenant, and he immediately knew what this message meant. He dedicated more time to serving God, and he faithfully ministered through music by playing the drums at multiple church services and events. When he returned to the practice field, Zack had a different vibe and newfound confidence in the Lord. He felt “untouchable.” As he approached the line for defensive ends to begin combative drills, the Holy Spirit told him to go on a different line. He obeyed and made his presence felt among the fullbacks. Play after play, he gave 110% effort and was relentless. He testified that he was making moves that he never thought he could do. After a full day of training, his coach did the unthinkable – He singled him out in the huddle and told the other players that he was the hardest working person on the field. Zack knew that if he kept this pace up, he would claim a starting position before the first game of the year. With God All Things Are Possible At only 5’ 10”, Zack is definitely an undersized lineman. Defensive ends at the secondary level are typically over six feet tall, and they weigh more than 240 pounds. Zack is much

shorter than his counterparts, weighing only 210 pounds. People often become discouraged when they don’t meet the “world’s” requirements, but remember David who beat Goliath? Having God’s grace and favor on our side makes our flaws and inadequacies insignificant and less evident. Athletes such as Spud Webb (5’ 7”) and Nate Robinson (5’ 9”) are undersized athletes who have been just as successful as their counterparts. This, however, is not by accident. It is a product of tremendous hard work, dedication, and a willingness to sacrifice the very things they love most. During his testimony, Zack shared that between serving at church and attending football practice (in the morning, after school, and on holidays), his social life was steadily declining. However, because of his unwavering commitment and selfless sacrifice of his time and talents, his performance on the field was elevated. In fact, his impact on the field was a contributing factor to his team’s 15-0 season record and its 2012 state championship title. He recalled in great detail the game when his team faced the reigning number one team in the state. This particular team was projected to be Sandy Creek High School’s most difficult opponent, and many considered them to be a major barrier to their state championship quest.

the Making Impossibilities Possible Sandy Creek’s opponents started the game strong and took an early lead. Before Zack and his teammates knew it, their opponents were driving down the field once again. Things couldn’t get any worse for the Patriots. That was until Zack’s faith was tested. A player from the other team violently smacked Zack’s helmet at the end of the play. Zack’s reaction would prove even more powerful. Despite his instant desire to retaliate, he walked away and threw his hands in the air, as if to surrender. Zack sacrificed his pride and publicly exercised his humility. This was a sacrifice God honored! A Miraculous Momentum Shift The opposing player was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct which resulted in a 15 yard penalty. This knocked the opponents out of field-goal range, and it forced them to punt. This play singlehandedly changed the momentum of the game, allowing Zack’s team to dominate the rest of the game. The Sandy Creek Patriots won 31-20. It was a tremendous victory on many levels. Learning Life Lessons on the Field Life, is very similar to football—it is contingent on momentum. As our opponent, Satan’s main objective is to create obstacles and traps that will cause us to veer away from God’s plans for our lives. He would love nothing more than for us to lose momentum in our walk with God. However, as Zack demonstrated, humility and a heart of submission are critical to success. We cannot retaliate or stoop down and resort to using Satan’s tactics if we want God’s power to be evident in our lives. Vengeance is the Lord’s (Romans 12:19). Promotion Comes From the Lord Zack also shared that throughout the season, he desired to be the captain of his team; however, his coaches did not select him for this role. God revealed to Zack that He kept him from being the captain because He wanted him to remain humble. The Lord also told Zack that he would be the captain in the championship game. Indeed, www.rhfan.com

moments before the team was to take the field at the Georgia Dome, Zack’s coach motioned for him to take his place as captain. Remarkably, out of all of the players on Zack’s team, his coach also selected him and his parents, Minister Gavin and Sister Lashell Lane, to be interviewed on live television during halftime. It was an honor and a privilege that only God could make possible. After a wellplayed game, Zack’s team ended their perfect season with a 45-10 championship victory. Zack’s testimony about the covenant of sacrifice is so profound that it urges each of us to question whether or not we are achieving our potential in Christ. It also makes one wonder if we sacrifice enough for God. Remember, He first loved us! He took the initiative and exemplified sacrifice through Jesus. We MUST follow His lead. “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” – Ephesians 5:1-2 The Power of Covenant A covenant with God allows us to operate in the supernatural. However, with every covenant relationship comes great responsibility. A covenant requires commitment and dedication. In most instances, it requires the denial of self. But God is faithful! When we obey and play our role, manifestation occurs, and we experience the power of God. Even though Zack never touched the field as a member of the varsity team until the 2012 season, he received scholarship offers from several schools and has committed to Tusculum College on a football scholarship. 

Nancy Lewis

As a business owner, I constantly hear and participate in presentations about the importance of effectively branding my business. Branding, as defined by the American Marketing Association, is a name, term, sign, symbol or design intended to identify the goods and services of one seller, or group of sellers—an identifiable mark that helps differentiate competitors. Developing my brand, therefore, is not about getting my target market to choose me over the competition. On the contrary, it is about getting my potential customers to see me as the ONLY person who can provide solutions to their problems. Branding is also about delivering my message clearly, connecting with potential buyers, and motivating them to purchase my goods and services. To succeed at branding and to develop customer loyalty, I have to understand the needs and wants of my customers and “Let prospects. Having a good brand conyour light so shine firms my credbefore men, that they may see ibility and ceryour good works, and glorify your tifies that my Father which is in heaven.” product and/ - Matthew 5:16 or service does what it promises. I must develop and maintain a brand that is synonymous with excellence and assures my customers that I will consistently deliver and exceed their expectations. 16

Brand

Just as business owners create brands, we as Christians must ensure when people see us, they see God’s brand radiating through us. Genesis 1:27 states, “So God created man in his image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” What do your coworkers, family members and people at the stores you frequent see when they are in your presence? Do they see love, grace, humility, or kindness? It is vitally important for us to reflect the unique character and essence of God’s brand in our daily walk and in our interactions with others. His brand is rocksolid and has been tried and tested. Who wouldn’t want a brand like that?

A Brand Birthed Out of Sacrifice No one said developing an eternal brand would be easy. God’s brand, which is Jesus, requires taking the wrong when others offend or treat us unjustly. Matthew 5:44 reminds us to love our enemies, bless them that curse us, do good to them that hate us, and pray for them which despitefully use and persecute us. When we live Matthew 5:44, God’s brand shines in us and through us for the entire world to see; and it clearly shows others that God is in charge of our lives. God’s brand also requires us to die daily to ourselves and to the desires of our flesh. It requires us to pick up our crosses daily and willingly allow the Spirit of God to rule us. I know it all sounds so simple, but how many times has someone said or done something to us that we didn’t like, and before we knew it, we gave

the them a piece of our mind? Unfortunately, when the flesh rules, God’s brand is tarnished. This truth reminds me of something Pastor Chika ministered to us recently. He said, “The Bible says, ‘Be ye holy.’ Not act ye holy.” He also spoke another truth that is essential to our “branding” success in his book, Wisdom in a Bite: “If it doesn’t work at home, don’t export it. We’re tired of the rhetoric.” How true. We don’t want a fake brand that looks good on the outside, but has no substance. We don’t want to be wishy-washy Christians sporting a fake brand that won’t stand the test of time. We want the world to see the stamp of God’s son, Jesus, in our actions and in our behavior, whether we are inside or outside of the church. Lastly, we cannot manufacture our own brand of Christianity and expect to reap the benefits – either we will be true to His Word, or we will waste our lives engaging in useless religious activity.

God’s Brand Requirements God’s brand requires us to walk in humility and not to think too highly of ourselves. The Word of God in 1 Peter 5:6 tells us exactly what to do: “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.” It’s really not about us at all. If we want to have a strong and authentic brand, we must wait for God to exalt us, and trust Him to help us share with the world how He is using us to win souls to Christ. Humility confirms that Jesus is real in our lives, ensures our credibility as Christians, and further establishes God’s work in the earth.

5:22-23 says, “But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.” Walking in love with a family member, working patiently with a colleague who doesn’t understand or refuses to do a simple task, or using your faith to believe God to heal your heart are practical ways we can wear God’s brand every day. Just like a marketer strives to develop a “unique selling position,” operating in the fruit of the Spirit on a daily basis perfectly positions Christians to impact the world and draw those who are in darkness into the light. Just as we must establish our brand in business, it is vitally important that we establish and wear God’s brand in everything we do here on the Earth. We never know who is watching us, and we may be the only Bible some people will ever read. When we truly let God’s brand emanate from us, and when we allow the compassion of Christ to consume us, we are able to connect emotionally with others. This emotional connection may be the key God uses to usher a person into the Kingdom of God. Jesus has the strongest brand in the universe, so why wouldn’t every person, every business owner, and every company want to strive to replicate His brand? After all, it’s the only thing we know that can guarantee the highest return on investment. Currently, an investment yield of seven to ten percent would be remarkable. However, Jesus guarantees a thirty-, sixty-, or hundred-fold return perennially. I challenge you to let the light of God’s brand shine brightly in you and through you, as you move forward in 2013. 

Humility is just the first part. God’s brand also requires us to walk in the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians

ike many households, mine was one where Mom and children went to church on Sunday while Dad stayed at home. I grew up that way, and for a while, my children grew up that way too. I did not realize that a covenant promise had been made in my family years ago. One day, however, I was speaking to my aunt and I shared with her how desperate I was to find the right church for my family. I did not want a church home where we could be comfortable, but I wanted to attend a church where we would be taught God’s Word, grow and mature in the

things of God, and serve Him inside and outside of church together as a family.

be a covenant member. He shared that there are things he will do as a spiritual father over us and that there are things we will do as his spiritual children.

My aunt invited me to visit her church, Resurrection House for All Nations. The following Sunday, I attended service with her, my uncle, and their two sons. Immediately, my spirit was awakened. Something inside of me had changed already, but I did not say a word about it to anyone. I went to church with her again the following Sunday, and I brought my younger son with me. During the service, I felt like a desert being rained upon, and instantly my son liked the church. My older son was hesitant about coming with us, but he changed his mind after a little firm, motherly persuasion. Pastor Chika ministered to us about our God being a covenant 18

We continued to visit RHFAN for several months, and the Lord began doing a powerful work in our hearts. By this time, not only were my sons and I consistently going to church, but my older brother, his wife, and their daughter were attending regularly as well. In January 2010, we all joined RHFAN as covenant members. When we joined, Pastor Chika explained to us what it meant to

I willingly entered into a covenant where I pledged to “Sow seeds of faith in this ministry because it is fertile ground unto me.” Consequently, by faith in Jesus Christ, my Lord, I declared that “I shall prosper in this ministry; my children shall prosper in this ministry, and by the grace of God, deliverance, victory, and complete restoration shall be my portion.” At that time, I didn’t realize the impact these words would have in my life and the lives of my family members. That night, I asked the Lord if I had made the right decision for my family. After all, I wanted us to be in a church where my husband would

come too, and where my whole household would be saved. The Lord comforted my heart with these beautiful words, “You will flourish in this place.” He later confirmed His word to me when He prompted me to read Psalm 115: 13-15: “He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great. The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. You are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.” In only a few weeks time, my mother and younger brother began to visit,

and soon afterwards, they joined the church. There we were, a family of twelve, serving and worshipping the Lord our God in one church, under one Pastor, by the power of the Holy Ghost. In August 2011, my dear, sweet mother departed this life to go worship our God up close and personal. In the midst of my pain, God was working a miracle and answering a prayer that had been prayed by many over the years. On August 12, 2011, my husband came to our church for my mother’s home-going service, and Pastor Chika “preached the house down.” He delivered a message about salvation and covenant, and the abiding fire and Glory of God was present. After the service, the Holy Spirit orchestrated an en-

have availed much. Again, the twelve of us are living proof and the exciting part is that there are many more family members to come. We have prayed, interceded, and even fasted with this promise in mind. God has not forgotten His covenant, and we are holding fast to it as well. We are believing Him for their salvation and deliverance, and we know that He will come through for us.

The lovingkindness of God will draw every member of your family to His throne of grace and into the glory of salvation through Jesus Christ. That day changed his life. Since then, he has given his life to Jesus, and he also joined Resurrection House for All Nations. My children and I have noticed great changes in my husband, and we love it. It is amazing to me how the Lord, in His wisdom, allowed one family member to depart this life, and He added another to the kingdom. So now there are still twelve of us worshipping and serving God together in one church, under one Pastor, by the power of the Holy Ghost. It is often said that “The family that prays together stays together.” Although it is a bit cliché,’ there is so much truth to that statement. For many years, beginning as far back as my grandmother, I believe, prayers have been made for the individual households in my family – prayers that we would all be saved and worship Jesus Christ together. Many prayer warriors interceded for our households. Covenants were made with God that my family members and their entire households would be saved. The Lord promised my grandmother that He would have to uproot trees and tear down walls, but that all her children would be saved. That covenant is still working today. The covenant is not only for her children, but it also her children’s children, and for everyone that marries into our family. The twelve of us are living proof that the covenant promises of God never fail. Regardless of the trials we have faced– alcohol and drug addictions, physical sicknesses, backsliding, rebellion, witchcraft, and oppression from demonic powers – the God of resurrection has been faithful to keep His covenant with my grandmother. I believe even before “Big Mama” made that covenant with God, He was already honoring one made by someone before her. It may have been her mother, or her mother before her. I don’t know exactly, but I just believe that. In fact, those prayers made back then, and the ones made today www.rhfan.com

Ours is just one of many families who are under a covenant with God. Your family may be one as well. Count yourself extremely blessed and highly favored if this is the case with you because God has made you and your family promises, and His promises are in Christ, “Yea, and in Him, Amen” (2 Cor. 1:20).

The lovingkindness of God will draw every member of your family to His throne of grace and into the glory of salvation through Jesus Christ. If there is not a covenant between God and your family, praise God still. You can be the open door for your family to encounter the resurrection power and the Glory of God. Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Helping Your Child Take It To Another Level...

It is a simple act of humility and a prayer of faith. Only repent of your sins, invite Jesus, the risen Savior, into your heart, and ask Him to teach you how to live in His righteousness, according to Romans 10:9-10. The Lord’s arms are open to receive you and your family. He is ready to make a covenant with you that will change your life forever and your family’s lives as well. You may be in a backslidden condition. You may go to church, but you do not have a relationship with Jesus. Maybe you have never been to church at all, and you are wondering if all this is true. Either way, you are not alone, and the God of resurrection is able to meet you where you are, at your point of need. Allow your heart to believe Him. Allow God’s resurrection power to bring you into a covenant with Him that will prevail. If you would like to speak to someone about your decision to choose Jesus as your Savior, or if you need prayer, please call the office at Resurrection House for Nations at 770-994-377 for further ministry. God bless you and your family. 

T IM E IS RUNNING OUT by Minister Art Hall

T

he Bible has a lot to say about the Kingdom of Heaven. In fact, Jesus routinely used parables, or short stories, to teach His disciples how the Kingdom of Heaven operates. He specifically used the parable of the ten virgins to illustrate the level of personal and spiritual preparedness we must all possess in these last days.

What is the Kingdom of Heaven? The Kingdom of Heaven is God’s rule of grace in the world. The grace that God is offering to the world is salvation – the awesome opportunity to accept His Son Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. Consider what the Bible has to say on the matter: “But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart that is the word of faith, which we preach. That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.” – Romans 10:8-11 Beloved, God loves you so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die for your sins in order for you to have an abundant life and spend eternity with Him. If you want to be saved, it all begins with confession. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the Apostle and High Priest of our profession (or confession). What does this mean? Simply put, it means Jesus Christ stands in the presence of God on our behalf to make sure that the prayers we pray 20

and the words we say reach the throne of God. The moment the Father receives our confessions, miracles are released into our lives.

The truth is, you have been living life your own way for so long, but you have not experienced any real results.

I can recall my own salvation experience. I was downstairs in my apartment, reading a book about prayer when the Holy Spirit challenged me with Matthew 6:6, which says: “But thou when thou prayest enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut the door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” I was intrigued by the idea that I can encounter God in my closet! I immediately arose from my futon, went upstairs to my room, and entered my closet to see if what the Bible said was true. I stepped into the small space, shut the door, and sat down on the floor. I did not know what to say. I was clueless. The only prayer I knew was the Lord’s Prayer, so I started to recite it. As I was uttering the words, the Glory of God showed up. It was as if He appeared to me on the other side of the closet. Like rain, I felt His presence descend upon me, beginning with the crown of my head, and then slowly filling my entire being. It was at that moment that I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Jesus Christ was real and I immediately confessed Him as my Lord and Savior. I ran out of my closet screaming and crying for joy because I knew I had just encountered God through Jesus Christ. From that moment on, my life has never been the same! The instant you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, a miracle will be released

into your life, and you will be accepted as one of God’s own children. You will also experience the miracle of forgiveness, and you receive the assurance of the Father’s love in your own heart. You will become a believer in Jesus Christ, and best of all be assured of your eternal destiny. Nothing in this world compares to this. Glory to God! The fundamental questions you must ask yourself are: Am I ready to give my life to the Lord? Am I ready to sell out to God? The truth is, you have been living life your own way for so long, but you have not experienced any real results. You know what they say the definition of insanity is, right? “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” God wants to free you from so much, but He can only do so if you truly surrender to Him. The Bible makes it clear that one way we know we are ready to sell out to God is when we recognize we are sinners and we admit our sins. The Bible says in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Beloved, the grace of God is reaching out to you today. It is time for you to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Don’t turn your heart from hearing the truth. Time is running out. 

the wounded you. Then revival fire will break out in your life. You will discover that all these issues, and the people associated with them, have caused terrible hindrances in your relationship with God.

Consider Romans, chapter 12:1-2: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” For revival to be birthed in your life, you must personally find the altar of God. How? It simply means you will bring yourself, and all you have thought and felt, and surrender them to The Lord with no pre-conditions. You are no longer interested in being right. You just want to be right with God. You are not defending your position on anything. You are ready to forgive everybody and release all those who have hurt and

In the Old Testament, the animal was brought to the altar against its will. It was sacrificed against its will. It was a dead sacrifice. Today, God is asking us for a living sacrifice. You have to willingly lay your life down on God’s altar to be crucified or delivered from all you have thought and felt. The strongholds are in your mind. They must all be cast down. When you agree with the Word of God, you will no longer insist on being right. You just want to be blessed by God. EXPECT THE FIRE TO FALL Beloved, I promise you that the fire of God will fall at that altar, and your life will change forever for the better. You will never remain the same. I encourage you to return to church, and to begin a new walk with the Lord. Don’t say that you are not ready. This will require faith on your part. God will revive and bless you. You will be on fire for God. I love you, and may God bless you. 

As I read her testimony about the invention God gave her, there were three critical points that spoke to me powerfully. I pray they will speak to you as well: 1. God can and will use even the worst circumstance in our lives to His Glory if we stay in faith. In every moment of our lives, we have a choice to make. We can choose life or we can choose death. (Deuteronomy 30:19) That choice is made by the attitude we choose to take. In Janice’s case, instead of being angry and bitter at her circumstances and rebelling against God, she faithfully went to the hospital every day, read her Bible and believed God through it all. His response was to bless her immensely. 2. In the New Testament, we see that oftentimes before performing a miracle, Jesus was moved with compassion (Matthew 14:14 & 18:27 are just two examples). As Janice www.rhfan.com

gave her testimony, we heard her express how her compassion for her husband caused her to ask God for a solution – FOR HER HUSBAND. She didn’t focus on wanting to be a millionaire (though clearly, as she continues following God faithfully, she will be). She focused on blessing her husband. God, who always does exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), gave her the solution she asked for, but then He expanded it to into something that would bless THE WORLD. 3. When rather than focusing on our own selfish needs and desires, we focus on blessing someone else, God will bless us beyond our wildest dreams. Why is that? Because in wanting to truly bless others, we are partners in God’s agenda. We are sharing in His love for His Kingdom and His children. When He sees that trait in our hearts, He blesses us to make us a blessing to others, and creates a destiny for

us that we would never have imagined. (Genesis 12:2). What blesses me the most about Sister Janice’s testimony is that she had a “logical business idea” before. It was an idea that matched her background. She had all the contacts she needed. It seemed a ‘no brainer,’ but until God touched her, she wasn’t sure what to do, or how to proceed. It was almost as if she was stuck. But when God’s Glory came upon her, everything changed. The Janice that didn’t know what to do suddenly started finding the answers she needed in a brand new field, where she had no experience. God gave her the faith and the courage to do what she had never done. You see, when we do business God’s way, He calls the shots, but He also does exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think! He’s God after all, and His Glory works! 

Ignition requires ready and raw materials. God is seeking hearts that are ready to burn for Him. Hearts that are unashamed. Hearts that are ready to grow. Hearts that are tired of religion and that earnestly desire a relationship with Jesus Christ. Hearts that are ready to take their generation back and to do damage to the kingdom of darkness. Hearts that will love God with everything that is within them. So we invite you to Ignite. We invite you to be a part of the movement and we invite you to experience and to encounter God. Are you ready? See you there.
