ver the past three decades of proven expertise in project design, there have been several projects of Architect Reza Kabul which have been benchmarks, challenges, and learning experiences for the studio; shaping the path to where they stand today and a future ahead. A key upcoming project is the Altitude in Colombo, Sri Lanka—a structure dedicated to the winners of the 1996 Cricket World Cup. The 90

They have also recently completed Le Méridien, Thimphu, a business and leisure hotel and the New Delhi office of Axis Bank covering 33,000 sqft over two floors. Another notable project is the Transcon Triumph, an award-winning 135 m. tall structure that breaks the monotony of

He also emphasises on the need for every design to be a response to the need of the client. “We look at every project as an individual identity, with its design driven by various factors including the local context, client brief and perspective, functionality, accessibility, maintenance, and budget. For instance, our recently completed Le Méridien Thimphu seamlessly blends into the urban fabric of the city while standing out amongst the low-rise skyline of Thimphu.”
