Our family history The history and the tradition of our family as artisans of our trade starts circa 1865 when our great grand father Mehmet Kazazi changed his surname from Kazazi into Sahatçiu, which in that time of Ottoman Empire families were named after ones trade and art, and ours ment “THE WATCHMAKER“.

Through the years The Art and Craft of watchmaking was passed from one generation to the other and our father Mr. Bajram Sahatรงiu started to be an active part of our family business since the age of eight in 1951, when he started to learn the art of watchmaking from his father, that spared nothing in teaching his son the craft that his father taught him nearly a century ago. By his sixteenth birthday he was a well known prodigy of Sahatรงiu Family and he was the first member of our trade to be graduated in watchmaking trade. He still is recognized as one of the most respected and one of the best Watchmakers in the South East Region.

In addition to that, Art de Suisse is present throughout this year at the very luxurious and prestigious Hotel “Four Seasons”, in Prague, with a point of sale corner dedicated to our partner: BOVET.

Recent accomplishments In 2013, Art de Suisse proved it’s success by growing it’s turnover over 20 percent more comparing 2012 and reaching new financial heights. In 2012 our company raised its turnover up to 50 percent in comparison with 2011, making the company one of the strongest selling companies in Czech Republic in fine jewellery and luxury watches. In the meantime, Art de Suisse became the exclusive distributor of BOVET luxury watches for the whole Czech Republic. While continuously strengthening its professional relations with the existing partners, the company is proud to announce some new agreements with world known brands as: BVLGARI, RAYMOND WEIL and HYSEK. Thanks to the passion and professionalism that drives every member of Art de Suisse, year 2013, the same as the years before, has been a great year in term of new business cooperations as well as point of sales expansion. Therefore, the company is operating two high end luxury watches and fine jewellery boutiques under the name “Glamour Diamond Boutique”, in the heart of Karlovy Vary, with a dazzling selection of the worldwide leading brands as: Brumani, Boucheron, Crivelli, Cuervo y Sobrinos, Charade, Chimento, Fope, Girard Perregeaux, Graham, Korloff, Mattioli, Messika, Moraglione, Palmiero, Paolo Piovan, Pasquale Bruni, Perrelet and Utopia.

our partners In 2003 we continued our family business with our first Czech Republic branch initially with luxury jewelery, and later on with our first love, the art of watchmaking and being in the business of luxury watches. Momentarily we operate from two stores in main centre of world known Karlovy Vary, and one exclusive boutique in the luxurious Carlsbad Plaza Hotel. At the moment we have great collaboration and partnership with World known brands like ZENITH, HUBLOT, CHAUMET, CORUM, H.STERN, BOVET, PARMIGIANI, JAQUET DROZ, HERMES, TAG HEUER and the likes.
