Sunflower oil is also used in the manufacturing of canned food as well as in soap and in the paint industry. The structure of sunflower oil can be broken down equally between refined and unrefined. According to experts, more than half of the oil is sold through a network of shops, a third of production is sold on the market, and only one tenth is sold through the halls. Major market participants believe that the future commercial networks will displace small-scale retail. In December 2011 negotiations were completed on the terms of Russia's accession to the WTO. Undoubtedly, this will be one of the main factors influencing the development of the market of sunflower oil in the medium term.
