Student Entry Process 4 Easy Steps 1. Apply for Admission and Financial Aid • Apply for admission ($30 non-refundable fee) in person, by mail, or online. • Complete your FAFSA on-line at fafsa.gov. • Check your new student email at RTC.edu/email.

2.Assess Your Skills • Pay for the COMPASS placement assessment at the Cashier’s Office ($25 non-refundable fee). • Take the COMPASS placement assessment in the Testing Center (Charles DeMoss Building J-219).

3.Connect with a Counselor/Advisor • Schedule an advising appointment prior to the first day of class either in person or by emailing advising@RTC.edu. • Review your COMPASS scores with an advisor, explore career pathways, and select a program of study. • Visit the Financial Aid department and submit necessary documents.

4.Register for Classes, Pay Tuition and Buy Books • Register for classes in person, by mail, or online at RTC.edu/getstarted. • Pay tuition and fees, purchase your books, and get started!
