PrettyUgly
A competition brief to design a range of ‘Pretty ugly’ T-shirt designs. The ‘pretty ugly’ designs could be skewed towards the pretty, the ugly, or varying combinations of both. I chose to design a some Pritty Ugly logos/designs that could go onto the shirts. The idea behind the designs was to create a legible design that was considered to Pretty and Ugly at the same time. The Idea for these initial designs was to create a graffiti like image that slightly resembled brush strokes and calligraphy. I used a a chizzletop Pen and held it at slight angle to produce this effect.
Tshirt designs for Best Vintage Leeds. The idea for this T-shirts was inspired by Leeds and urban youth culture. I created a mixed mediia colllage with the word ‘Best’ graffiti written in the bottom right hand corner. I am yet to have any feedbcak from this one yet however I am confident that they will like and hopefully take this one on aswel.
