DEAR FRIENDS: Welcome to the sixth Let It Shine Gala and thank you for being with us this evening. We are thrilled to celebrate our student scholars and honor one of our own—Regis trustee and dedicated philanthropist Thomas P. O’Neill III. Tom has been on the Board of Trustees at Regis since 2014, lending his expertise to advance the mission and make a positive impact on our community. As a co-chair of the Now We Fly campaign, Tom helped lead the university to complete its most ambitious fundraising effort in 2019, transforming the campus and creating opportunities for deserving student scholars. Tom’s dedication to Catholic education, social justice, and service shines through in all of his great work at Regis and at so many other deserving organizations in Greater Boston and beyond. Thank you, Tom, for all that you do. Regis College educates the whole person—with a strong focus on those same values that Tom has exemplified throughout his life—preparing students to serve others and be advocates in their communities. I hope you will take the opportunity to visit with some of these very impressive students here tonight. Thank you for being here to celebrate Tom, and thank you for your incredible generosity to make Regis and its students shine bright. Enjoy the evening.
