An Exceptional Healing Environment for Patients and Families Regional West offers the region’s most comprehensive and advanced level of rehabilitative care for patients of all ages. Regional West’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit is the only accredited inpatient rehabilitation facility in western Nebraska. It offers intensive, multidisciplinary rehabilitation care following trauma, accidents, and serious illness.

Inpatient, outpatient, and Home Care rehabilitation services are provided by The Rehab Center for patients following surgery, illness, injury or those with chronic conditions. The Rehab Center offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, spine therapy, cardiopulmonary services, and pediatric therapy, and is the region’s only rehabilitation facility to offer aquatic therapy.

Caring for Our Youngest Patients Regional West offers the only birthing center in the region, staffed by obstetricians, pediatricians, and specially trained nurses. The Level II Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is an advanced newborn care nursery located in the Birth and Infant Care Center, providing highly specialized, aroundthe-clock care for premature babies and critically ill infants. In addition, board-certified pediatricians and pediatrictrained nurses provide both inpatient and outpatient care for children and adolescents.
