Red Dog Music is Edinburgh's BIGGEST general music store, with over 5,000 square feet of musical equipment ranging from electric guitars to keyboards; studio recording gear to lighting and from percussion right through to PA equipment. At Red Dog Music, you’ll find all the big brands (and a whole heap of smaller ones) in stock. Rock out in our private demo rooms, complete with mirrors for practising your embarrassing guitar stances and/or facials; get involved with our analogue synths, which are wired up and ready to squeal the house down; have a bash on an electronic drum-kit or - if you get bored – take a seat on the famous Red Dog Music Couch and soak in the atmosphere. We welcome one and all, from seven-year-old studio engineers to nonagenarian DJs. So, if you live in Edinburgh or are ever passing through, pop in and say hello.
