Welcome to your ﬁrst edition of Childcare Professional in 2023. As many of you will know, this year we have begun a new and exciting chapter at PACEY: I started as Chief Executive last month, taking over from Liz Bayram who worked with PACEY staff, volunteers and Trustees for 15 years.

We want to keep up the momentum from the end of last year, when we saw a growing coalition of voices demanding reforms to improve the early education and childcare system for families and providers and better support the many children affected by the impacts of the pandemic.
