REGISTRATION INFORMATION 5 EASY WAYS TO REGISTER! 1) Internet at www.recreater.com: To get your pin number just log on to www.recreater.com get an automated response via e-mail. 2) Mail completed registration form with your check (payable to Frederick County Treasurer): Frederick County Parks & Recreation, C/O Registration, 118 N Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701. 3) Walk-in with your completed registration form and your cash, check (payable to Frederick County Treasurer), or credit card information to: Frederick County Parks & Recreation, 118 North Market Street, 8:00 am-4:00 pm weekdays. 4) Call 301-600-2936 and please have your completed registration form and credit card number ready 5) Fax completed registration form to: Frederick County Parks & Recreation, 301-600-2595.

Early program registration is encouraged since roster size is limited. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Pre-registration required unless otherwise indicated.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION

Confirmation sent via e-mail, otherwise your cancelled check or credit card statement is your receipt. You will be notified if there is a problem processing your registration or if the program is cancelled. Please make a note of your program start date.

REVISED-REFUND POLICY

Our refund policy encourages early decisions, so as to not affect other customers or our ability to deliver efficient programs. All requests for refunds must be made at least 10 business days prior to the start of the program. A 20% administrative fee will be charged per refund transaction. Registrations that require advanced tickets are not refundable. Refunds for Sport League registrations must be made prior to the listed league registration deadline. There are no refunds for missed sessions.

PROGRAM CREDITS/TRANSFERS

To avoid the administrative fee, a customer may transfer into another program with no additional fee. A credit may also be kept on the customer account at no additional charge. Requests for both credits and transfers can only be made 5 or more business days prior to the program start date. There are no refunds of credits.

RETURNED CHECKS

A $25 fee will be charged for checks returned for non-payment.

AGE POLICY

Program participants must be the advertised age for a program before the program ends. All age requirements are set to benefit the participants and to make the instruction consistent and safe.

TRIPS ALCOHOL POLICY

We strive to have a family atmosphere on our trips. If you choose to drink alcohol while on one of our trips please do so responsibly and make arrangements to have a designated driver for your trip home from the bus drop off area.

DISCIPLINE

The Division has a discipline policy for program participants. In the event the participant is asked to leave a program/facility, no refund will be issued.

The Division is committed to providing accessibility for individuals with disabilities and strives to provide equal, integrated participation in all programs, activities, and services. The Division’s policy is to reasonably accommodate all qualified program applicants in accordance with the 1990 ADA. We welcome questions, comments, and concerns of interested citizens regarding ADA compliance.

Frederick County Parks and Recreation staff has made every effort to prepare this activity guide as accurately as possible. However, errors can occur. Circumstances may require that adjustments be made to programs, fees, schedules, etc. Frederick County Parks and Recreation staff reserves the right to make any such adjustments. We apologize for any inconvenience these errors or adjustments may cause.

PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS/ WEATHER-RELATED CLOSURES

Please see your instructor on the first day of your program for a schedule. If there is an exception, you will be informed by the Parks and Recreation staff on the program schedule. If you are not sure whether a program will be held, call our program cancellation line at 301-600-6291. During inclement weather, outdoor programs may be cancelled. Every effort will be made to make-up missed classes. Refunds will not be granted for rescheduled classes that are missed due to conflicts with personal schedules. The Division may cancel a program for any reasonable cause.
