At this point last season

After Friday night, Minnesota Stars FC’s difficult roadtrip will be half over. The Stars play at the fourth-placed Tampa Bay Rowdies Friday night at Al Lang Stadium. Originally scheduled for Saturday night, the game was moved a day earlier before the start of the season following the announcement of the US Men’s National Team’s friendly against Scotland in Jacksonville on Saturday night. The Stars have won three straight league games and four straight games overall. Last Saturday night, the Stars bounced back from an early goal with three unanswered scores in a 3-1 road win against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. The team defeated the PDL’s Des Moines Menace 2-0 on Tuesday night in Iowa in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup second round and faced a quick turnaround to for Friday’s match with the Rowdies. Friday’s match will be streamed live via the internet on NASL.com and Ustream.tv/tampabayrowdies.
