At A2SEA in Fredericia, they had experienced that the floor coating at their entrance got very slippery when it became wet. “It became just as slippery as an ice rink,” says Marianne Andersen Real Safety is a well-known supplier at A2SEA and therefore Marianne Andersen had one of HSEQ contacting Real Safety. “Morten came by and showed us the solution to our problem. The anti – slip profiles fitted perfectly and it could be mounted without having to detach the revolving door,” she says and continue “And therefore we chose Real Safety to do the job.” A2SEA has only had positive feedback regarding the new Anti-slip solution.

CASE MAERSK
”Maersk Oil and Gas prioritizes safety more than anything else. When people are injured offshore, it´s often because they´ve fallen and hurt themselves. With anti-slip covering from Real Safety on our stairs, we´ve reduced the risk of slip and falls. The original grating are worn smooth and gets slippery as times goes by, and Real´s profiles gives us the opportunity to upgrade safety without replacing existing stairs. We also seize the opportunity to have message embedded into the profiles. We´ve written “USE HANDRAIL” on the top and bottom stairs and these profiles also has “Glow in the dark” properties”.

FRP PRODUCTS Gratings
Fiberglass grating with anti – skid surface weigh less than 1/3 of the steel greating. - Different types of grating to fit the costumers need. - Anti-skid surface, concave surface and closed surface. - Long lasting durability. - Ideal where there is corrosion problems. - Weigh less than 1/3 of the steel grate. - “Flexible” structure for a comfortable foothold.
Anti – skid Surface: - With silica grains to ensure anti – skid surface.
Concave surface: - Anti – skid surface without silica grains.
Closed Surface: - Use where there is a need for separation between two levels to prevent drippings or smoke to pass.
Advantages: - Heavy lifting equipment is not required. - Light weight enables an as handling and cleaning of the gratings.

PROFILES FOR LADDER RUNGS
Ordinary ladder rungs are often slippery. Especially rungs on steel ladders. Together with a narrow stepping surface, there is a high risk of slipping accidents occurring. Ladder Rung covers - Make Ladder Rungs slip resistant. - Extreme durability. - The materials are epoxy and aluminium oxide, and silicon carbide which have strength and hardness almost like diamonds. - Made of flame-resistant fiberglass. - Corrosion-, UV- and flame resistant. - Resistant to oils and chemicals. - Available from Fine – to Extreme coarse. - Available in a range of colors also luminous – see color chart. - For use indoor and outdoor.
