Libraries for $500 Don’t miss Sara Shiver, a librarian at the Main library, on Jeopardy! in May on ABC Columbia. Sara taped the show in January but was not allowed to tell anyone. She also can’t tell us if she won. We tried to pry it from her. No such luck. A lifelong Jeopardy! enthusiast, Sara vied for a spot twice and this time it worked. Last May, she found herself in a room with 25 other residents from throughout the Southeast who had scored high online. They took more tests, played a mock game with buzzers, and had personality interviews. At the end of the day, she made it into the pool of possible contestants and she was told she could expect to be called sometime during the next 18 months! But she didn’t have to wait long. The much anticipated phone call came in December, inviting her to come to the Sony Studios in Los Angeles on January 18 to be on the show.
