reatives from Rambert Dance Company, Opera Holland Park, the London Contemporary Orchestra and many others have come together to devise new audio-kinetic adventures within this iconic building on Kensington High St in celebration of World Listening Day. The sounds, feelings and memories of the building become the inspiration for new music, dance and opera performed over three days throughout the building. You will be taken on an immersive journey through the building where you can explore the silent spaces as they slowly wake. Friday’s lengthened performances also offer a rare chance to see a new staging of Harrison Birtwistle’s

‘The Corridor’ in a first collaboration between Opera Holland Park and The London Contemporary Orchestra. The former Commonwealth Institute has been closed since 2002. This is a unique opportunity to explore it before its transformation into the new Design Museum scheduled to open in 2014. Booking information on page 4
