Introduction Biography
Having worked for the Department of Energy for over 20 years as a Technical Specialist in Electronics and Laser-Electro/Optics and Photographic Arts and Sciences, I have shot every type of photography you can think imaginable from Commercial, Industrial, Scientific, Public Relations, Environmental, Corporate and Family Portraits, Fashion and Glamour. This includes images for companies such as Rockwell International, Bechtel, Lockheed Martin, EG&G Services and even British Nuclear Fuels. My images have been used in technical journals, magazines, brochures, posters, advertizing and marketing, billboards, websites, corporate proposals, public relations and environmental impact subjects. I have had the chance to work closely with public relations, scientists and environmental scientists, including senators and governors and even the Bureau of Indian Affairs. My background in electronics and Laser Electro/optics and geometrical optics has given me the opportunity to perform everything from high-speed photography, high-speed laser photography and interferometer and holographic work. I was at the peak enjoyment of my career being able to do high-speed ballistic test imaging for the Department of Defense.
I now specialize in photo manipulation and fantasy work and fine art nude figurative that strictly portrays the spiritual connections to Nature. Although I still enjoy performing all types and aspects of photography. My passion is photo manipulation and fantasy art along with the spiritual connections of being Skyclad in Nature. All of my Fantasy and Skyclad in Nature images along with my Landscape photography is based upon this statement: THE ART OF BECOMING AT ONE AND AT PEACE WITH YOURSELF AND MOTHER NATURE It is a special grounding process that only a handful of people I know of understand without making it complicated or perverted. If you truly want to know what this type of Artwork and Photography of mine is all about, then you will have to read Chapter V in my book on Nature Connections. I give you some samples of my life experiences that have led me not only to the type of photography I perform, but how those life experiences have led me to be more like a Warrior of the Awakening. But for right now, just enjoy some of my photography.
Chapter One Landscapes
It really does not matter how many times a landscape is photographed or by whom. Each one will be different because of the artist point of view; the time of year and the weather and lighting, and camera angle. That is the advantage of living in a fractal designed universe. Just like it requires split second timing in photographing people to bring out the best in people and emotions; the same can be in photographing Nature where by the time you stop your car and get out to photograph, it is too late. I am thankful for the opportunity to be in a lot of these places that require miles of hiking and photographing places that the general public does not normally see. In a lot of cases they are also places that not even the locals are aware of. It can also be the situation of being in the right place at the right time.
Ultimately, it is also being thankful of being able to photograph a lot of these areas before they are totally trashed by the human race. Global Sustainability is the most forbidden and dangerous subject on the planet. I do not care what the political, social, cultural and especially the environmental programs are. They are all geared towards corporate industry and government control where it serves only a choice few. I have had corporate directors tell me point blank face to face that when the economy is good, the planet is trashed. You cannot have both. So it is going to be sad to see about 5 billion people disappear off this planet because they base their lives on assumption, and consumption. This is also why at one time I was going to donate 10% of any sales to an environmental group, but could not find one worthy of that because 60 to 70% of the donations were vaporized in administration cost and not the cause. It is also a spiritual connection with me that goes far beyond description where not even the photograph can picture that serenity and peace, and total beauty from within. And just like anything to do with spirituality or nonphysical realms is something that cannot be shown or taught, but something that you have to experience and learn.
