The Grandote Peaks championship golf course, designed by Tom Weiskopf, is rarely crowded and offers some of the most spectacular views of any golf course in Colorado. There are many fishing, hiking, and sightseeing opportunities in the area as well. Cycling is a big draw, and the community sponsors the Stonewall Century bike ride each year. A quick trip up the Highway of Legends reveals geology only seen in a few places across the globe. The Cuchara Mountain Park offers limited downhill and Nordic ski opportunities each winter and a challenging disc golf course in the summer.
