Nestled in the rolling hills of Julian, Julian StarFest bids stargazers to come and enjoy a clear night sky and a celebration of the cosmos. The San Diego Astronomy Association and the town of Julian are teaming up to present the sixth annual event at Menghini Winery, 1150 Julian Orchards Dr. The event brings amateur and experienced stargazers together to listen to professional lectures, buy from an assortment of vendors and, of course, look at bright stars. Attendees may even camp out in the grassy fields that surround the winery during all three days of StarFest for only $30 for adults and $15 for kids. StarFest will run from Aug. 9 through 11.
