recently came across the following sentence: “If you find a woman who can get anything by herself, and you are not ready to add value to her life, simply, admire her from afar and do not interrupt her greatness”. Upon reflection, I was immediately reminded of a phrase I once heard: “a coward does not have a beautiful lady by his side”. Simply put, they both relay that proper attributes are required for effective unity.
I have seen many “mismatched” couples throughout the past, but especially within the last decade or two. Back then, those two statements were the exception, not the rule, unlike they are in today’s society. Modernity, globalization and feminism, among other factors, have changed what was once considered acceptable among women. Fortunately, this unique way of thinking, lead to positive change and as a result, we now see women everywhere demonstrating intellectual greatness, independence, value, power, and strength. A woman with these characteristics is very unlikely to accept or chose a partner who does not have the same intellectual capabilities as herself. The part of the phrase above that states: “do not interrupt her greatness” is aimed at those who know they are not a proper match for a woman, however, out of selfishness, continue to pursue them. Together, we all can become conscious of our thoughts by searching to find someone who is stronger, wiser, and more successful, that we can look up to daily.

reparing a budget and sticking to it is an essential component of responsible money management. Whether you have to pay a few bills or all household expenses, understanding and knowing how much money is spent on what is the first step towards financial independence.
A financial plan
You would not build a house without a blueprint. Think of your budget as a blueprint for your financial wellbeing. Your budget is the foundation of good financial habits that will help you avoid problems and difficulties that are likely to emerge without a structured plan.
Budget Components
Start with budget monitoring to know where the money is being spent. Take the most recent bank and credit card statements, and any other receipts you may have for the previous month. The idea is to have an overview of your monthly expenses, savings and net salary. Then you can start filling in the gaps by cal-

culating how much money you spend on discretionary items like food, clothing and entertainment. Remember to consider the following expenses: · Mortgage or rent payment, car loan. · Credit cards. Services: telephone, electricity, water, gas, cable, internet. · Insurance: automobile, health, life, housing · Savings / Investment · Food, travel, gas, clothing account.
Income - Expenses = Truth
If you are lucky, after adding your expenses and subtracting this amount from your monthly salary, there will be some money left. Good news! This is the money you can start saving or investing. However, if you’re like many people, you begin to understand why you can never make ends meet. Do not despair! Before you can solve a problem you first need to recognize it, and that is precisely what you have just done. Now you need to start developing a strategy to set your financial path.
When the balance is paid in full, close the account and proceed to the next debt that has the highest interest rate. If you get paid every 2 weeks, take the “extra income check” that you receive on the months that have 5 Fridays, and use them for debt payments. Evaluating your spending habits by budgeting, makes you think about your relationship with money. As with any other relationship, to be strong and healthy, you need to deal with it diligently. he Mexican Consulate in Dallas Texas, provides to the Mexican government and their countrymen who live in the United States, the Center for Information and Assistance to Mexican Citizens Program. CIAM is a customer service center where Mexican citizens living in the United States have available for free, answers related to immigration. This service is available seven days a week. The telephone numbers are: 1-855-463-6395 and (52) 063 001 78 74 when calling from Mexico City. Fulfilling with the commitment to guide and support our compatriots living in the United States, the Mexican government, through the CIAM, supports Mexicans seeking the best solution to their immigration problem.

any foreign nationals and noncitizens, otherwise eligible for immigration relief, come to realize that they will never get their green card or work visa because a dishonest immigration consultant or notario pretending to be an immigration lawyer shattered their dreams. Immigration consultants, notarios, notaries public, and people licensed to practice law in a foreign country, cannot provide you with a legal representation in the immigration process. In many occasions, people who are not authorized to practice law in the United States, and who routinely victimize immigrants in the Hispanic community, make the following deceiving statements: • The individual is an attorney, or abogado • The individual is authorized to represent immigrants before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (“USCIS”), or before immigration courts • The individual is qualified to assist in preparing a will, corporate document or other legal paperwork • The individual is a legal assistant • The individual has a court license, or • The individual is a notario publico.

There is no doubt that a responsive web design is very important for the extensive use of mobile phones today. Smartphones and tablets now have more use than ever. They have more use now than ever before. The interaction with websites on smartphones and tablets are not the same as in computer monitors: for example, a click on a keyboard or a mouse, compared to just a tap on the screen, along with the size of it, makes a totally different technology. Any company wishing to have a responsive site must ensure that the navigation elements such as screen designs, text, images, audio / video, etc., can be adjusted within a variety of devices. Therefore, you need not spend extra time and money on creating and maintaining a desktop, a mobile, and a website version.
What are the advantages of a responsive website? • Flexible: the content moves freely across all screen resolutions and all devices. • Versatile: optimizes the user experience, regardless of whether you use a desktop computer, a smartphone, a tablet or smart-TV. he United Nations conjointly with UNESCO, proclaimed 1995 the Year of Tolerance, establishing November 16th, as the day to celebrate and perform activities to support it. This arose from many acts of violence, intolerance, terrorism, xenophobia, racism, discrimination against religious, ethnic and linguistic minorities, refugees, migrant workers, immigrants and vulnerable groups in society, as well as other acts of violence and intimidation against persons exercising their right to freedom of opinion and expression. They wrote a Declaration of Principles on Tolerance urging citizens worldwide (this includes us, you and me) political leaders, intellectuals, and media, to work and enact respect, acceptance, and appreciation of the infinite richness of the cultures our world offers and our different forms of expression. But ... what is tolerance? It is one of human values that makes it possible to accept people, situations or things that are far from what each person believes, or is accustom to that person; it is also respect and consideration for the difference, is a willing-

ness to admit a different way of being and acting, other than their own. In the Declaration of Principles, tolerance definition is quite rightly; the virtue that makes peace possible and contributes to the replacement of the culture of war by a culture of peace. They emphasize that tolerance is not a concession, condescension or indulgence, but is, above all, the recognition of universal human rights and fundamental freedom of others. It emphasizes that under no circumstances can be used to justify infringements of these fundamental values. They encourage that tolerance must be practiced by individuals, groups, and Government. Tolerance is nothing but respect, acceptance and appreciation of world’s richness, as cultures and forms of individual expression. Tolerance is harmony. Tolerance promotes awareness, openness of ideas, communication and freedom of conscience. In this month of November let us put in practice this great virtue.

nown as friendly, humble and with a good sense of humor, Joe Peña left a very important legacy behind in our Hispanic-American culture. He was born on November 25, 1930 in the city of Gary, Indiana, his parents were of Spanish origin which allowed him to be bilingual. He lived in California near Sacramento, fought in the Korean War in 1956, on his return, his parents sent him to study at the University of Mexico. During his staying in Mexico, his life changed, not just by completing his studies in accounting but also he met there whom he married later, Gloria. In 1969, when his son was 5, he moved to New
York City. In 1971, he moved back to Dallas Texas, where he attained great achievements. In the 80’s had a remarkable intervention in politics; his participation in the Republican Party in Texas helped President George H. Bush to furthering the Republican National Hispanic Assembly. He also managed to become the founding member of the Texas Republican Latin Coalition. As shown, he was a precursor of the Latino community to participate in politics of the United States, actions which were well supported and which ended in successful results. Without neglecting his accountancy profession, he also managed to be part of highly recognized businesses such as Peace Group, next to Al Zapanta and,
Peace and Peace Energy Resource. But his concerns did not stop there, another facet that he had been interviewed to rename the “Manana” street in Dallas which was changed to “Mañana”; this act earned him favor within the Hispanic community. Another peculiar thing is that he used to give a “million dollar” bill as a business card which surprised those who received it, but after taking a look at it they realized it was a copy and contained only Joe’s photo with the phrase: “Intelligent vote, vote Republican.” He passed away on December 25th, 2011. He is remembered for his generous and kind way of looking at life that undoubtedly helped to change the political and social aspect. Habitual Magazine makes a well-deserved posthumous tribute to Mr. Joe Peña.

ating in Dallas Section, is pleased to recommend the Puerto Vallarta Restaurant, located at 14905 Midway Rd, Addison, Texas. Luis Cobos, the general manager, presented to us with the two most requested dinner dishes:: Fajita Pineapple being the first one, served in a pineapple shell with shrimp, sausage, beef, onions, tomatoes and roasted peppers. This combination gives a very delicious flavor accompanied with rice, refried beans, guacamole, pico de gallo and lettuce with cream. The second dish is called the Volcano; a very peculiar dish served in a pestle with lots of cactus,
chorizo, chicken, shrimp, onions and roasted tomatoes, bathed in a sauce also called volcano. This dish is accompanied by a plate of rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo and lettuce with cream. The restaurant also has bar service which serves a variety of drinks. “Happy Hour” is perfect time for everyone who likes a refreshing drink from 1 P.M. to 7 P.M. every day. On Friday night, the restaurant has live music, plus delicious dinner; you can dance and make a more cheerful night. Puerto Vallarta Restaurant offers a variety of services for everyone. Home ownership also comes with property appreciation over time, a so-called, “surplus value” that you can borrow against the loan value if an emergency should ever happen, like needing to make repairs. With that said, it is also important to note that your rent will be almost the same amount or less than your current rent rate. t was a beautiful day in New York City, at that time of the year in which the cold begins to walk the streets, and I was sitting in front of one of the Italian musical groups with more international success nowadays, they are IL VOLO, who kindly conceded an exclusive interview to the Revista Habitual, during their visit to the country for the promotion of their new album Grande Amore. They are three young singers, Gianluca Ginoble, Ignazio Boschetto and Piero Barone, with an innate talent, a charisma that overflows around the room, a great physical attractiveness, and an excellent perception about
fashion what seems to be a perfect mix for the success, and it is what without any doubt is coming on the way of the pop lyric group IL VOLO; and I am not the only one to praise them, if even Plácido Domingo, who has been a great Maestro, a mentor and supporter for the group, recently in an interview to a prestigious Italian media said “IL VOLO are three guys that all the world need to know about, the sound of three tenors in a fresh and innovative way. the Sanremo Festival, the most important music festival in Italy, the best award that an Italian artist can achieve; allowing them to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, where they gained the 3rd place. We began the interview talking about their Grande Amore, the first album that they release with their own repertoire, unlike the foregoing in which they mainly performed Italian covers like ‘O Sole Mio” and “Il Mondo”. They told us that it was a year of hard work in selecting the songs for the new album, and because of the endless hours spent in the recording studio. It was a long production process in which they had actively participated. Their new album has three versions: the first is a version that was released only in Italy; the second is an international version in which they sing mostly in Italian, because

it is more classic, and it is focused on the American and European markets; and the third version in which they sing the same Italian songs but in Spanish to make it more pop. We can enjoy the songs “Grande Amore”, “L’Amore si muove” and also songs like “Volare”, “Piove”, “L’immensità” among others. In the recent Latin American Music Awards 2015 they interpreted the song Grande Amore in Spanish for the first time for the Latin American audience, song that was impressively welcomed, so much that they were the only artists who received a standing ovation. During the interview, I experienced the brotherhood between them, so I asked: “Considering the great qualities as singers that each one of you owns and what happens

with members of other groups who are seeking to launch their solo careers What’s your secret to stay together as a group?” and they responded without hesitation: the power they have when they sing together, each one has his own talent and different voices that create a melodic harmony when together, and this is the reason why the audience wants to see them together on stage. They recognized the great value that represents the team that accompanies them, their manager and their families, the people who believe in them and their talent, they do not treat them as a business but as three guys who are struggling to fulfill their dreams. Their concerts tour will begin in January 2016 in Italy; then in the US in February and March,
particularly in Texas on March 17th, 18th, and 19th in Austin, San Antonio and Dallas; South America in April and May; and in June in the rest of Europe. As a thank to our Revista Habitual and a farewell they invited us to share a wonderful dinner with them, and without imagining I was walking on the 5th. Avenue with these three guys that with their simplicity, power, and art filled the streets of New York with songs and joy, drawing the attention of people that stopped to congratulate them, and others who with tears of emotion, took the opportunity to take a photo with their idols. With no doubts one of the best experiences I’ve had, the kind you never forget and worth sharing; definitely the world should know about IL VOLO.

very day I realize that one of the biggest problems parents have are with their own children. The contradiction between what we say and do, is a very powerful reason for conflict to exist between adults and youth. The parent’s bad example, besides creating distrust, bring irreversible effects on the personality of children. Youth demands that we, adults, be congruent, authentic, transparent and without masks. Hatred, envy, selfishness, pride, power, money and pleasure, are negative behaviors that confuse young people creating mistrust, estrangement and frustration. In the absence of an educational guide based on trust, respect, love, and values, young people often tend to look for escapes
in a negative, destructive and incomprehensible way, such as alcoholism, drug abuse, and gang environment. There is a high percentage of Hispanic parents living here in America, that we despise, that we devaluate our own children telling them that they are useless, they are not like us, they are unable to provide anything positive to family and society, and yet: “Son, I can’t read this document; please answer the phone because I do not understand what they say; help me to complete this application; help me find what I need on your computer; teach me how to use this phone; son, take me to the supermarket; tell him to charge me less”. How difficult our lives would be here in the United States without the help of our children.

Miguel Solís 1 st. Vice President of the DALLAS ISD He is a native Texan, raised by his mother, a school bookkeeper, and late father, a public school teacher and small business owner. He received his B.A. in History with a minor in political science from Lamar University and received his M. Ed. in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University. Solis’ professional experiences include serving as a staff member on President Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, an eighth grade U.S. history teacher, and a central staff member in Dallas ISD. On November of 2013, through a special election, Solis became the youngest board member ever elected to the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees. Soon after, he was re-elected to serve a three-year term. The flight of geese: A life lesson

It is all about looking to the sky for inspiration in geese, whose social structure is worthy of admiration and imitation. The flight of geese and their “V” structure is not only supportive and inclusive of all individuals, but is also much more effective because unity is strength in all realms of nature, and we are one of them. It is worth reflecting on lessons about flying geese and the prospects that open up if we apply the sense of cooperation rather than competition in our lives:
Lesson 1: Geese, with the movement of their wings, each one is creating a “subsistence force” that helps the one flying behind in a “V” alignment. Deduction: When we share the same goal and have a sense of community we can get where we want, further, easier and faster, because when traveling together (staying together) we can help each other. This is the benefit of mutual support. Lesson 2: When a goose falls out
of formation it feels the resistance and effort of flying solo, so the goose goes back into formation to take advantage of “the strength of the lift” from the one in front. Deduction: If we have the same wisdom that the goose has, we will stay in formation with those who
are in the same direction and we are willing to accept their help, as well as give ours to others.
Lesson 3:
When the leadergoose gets tired, it moves to the flock position allowing another goose to take the leadership. Deduction: We get better results when we interchange to do the hard work. It is suitable to alternate and share leadership like geese do, we are dependent on each other.
Lesson 4: Geese flying in the back of the formation, squawk to encourage those up front in order to maintain speed. Deduction: A word of encouragement produces great results. We must ensure that our “squawking” is to encourage and not for anything else. Lesson 5: When a goose gets sick, is wounded or shot down, at least two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect. They stay with him on the ground until it is able to fly or dies, then they, with their own formation, join others to catch up the flock from which they come from. Deduction: If we had as much sense as geese do, we would always stay next to each other and help each other during difficult times. This is TEAMWORK.

n this last chapter on a virtual trip around the Earth, following the direction of the gaze of the Sphinx, we will try to complete its cycle at the point where it began, making a virtual descent to revisit the site. We also recognize and restate the importance of this geographical area for humanity. And it is that both, the Pyramids and the Sphinx located in Giza, a suburban town of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, were built specifically to mark this parallel. If a theodolite is placed between the paws of the Sphinx and faces to the east, is marking exactly parallel 29 58 30 94 North. Due to an almost imperceptible
pear-shaped globe, mild depression or “waist” which coincides with the 30th parallel, forms a kind of portal or window of four degrees that allows traffic between Earth and outer space. Objects or vehicles coming from space bounce like when a stone bounces off the water if thrown obliquely if its path is threaded further north of parallel 28; or they might catch fire when hitting a denser atmosphere if they come lined up south of parallel 32. That is, these four grades between 28 and 32, form an extremely valuable interplanetary portal from many points of view: political, religious, commercial or strategic. Or what is the same, they are a gateway to heaven. These facts were well known by the ancient builders of the pyramids as well as by the current operators of Cape Canaveral, both located within this portal. This was also known by Jules Verne. It is no coincidence.
From this perspective, we must accept the fact that the pyramids in Giza were not built for the mummified bodies of kings or pharaohs to enjoy tombs made with millions of tons, as it is pretended for us to believe. Besides serving as beacons or reference points to astronauts, the pyramidal shape of these buildings and the design of tunnels and chambers filled crystals ranging from coping to the basement, give them properties to magnify and direct electromagnetic energy flows between the center of the globe and certain regions of outer space. Also, they serve as a powerful energy plasma generator and a center of interstellar communications. Today these activities are diversified and scattered throughout the earth because there are many visitors with different interests from other frequencies, planes or dimensions that in our third dimension, we conceive as planets. It is pointless to expand on the extraterrestrial subject in a few lines, because this is already a matter inserted into our everyday lives. We just need to remember
one of the most important events for human development today and it was an agreement signed by the then President of the United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower and the representative of a breed derived from the Reptilians we all know as the “grays”. These are the same little big headed men with large slanted eyes who at the beginning were called “Martians” and through this agreement they built underground bases to “study” the human race and experimenting with it. ou are in a violent relationship and a victim of abuse if: You feel afraid to speak out about your relationship. You feel that no one will believe you, understand you, that others might even criticize you. If you are scared that if you leave, you may lose your home, job, and have no way to support yourself nor your children. If threats have been made to you about having your children taken away by the authorities, maybe even beaten or abused. You must stop asking yourself “why get out” and actually get out now. Stop letting the fear prevent you from protecting yourself and your children. There is no doubt that the threats are real, but you are not worthless, nor powerless to do something about it, only lead to believe you are unable to make changes by
the abuser. Fear has power over you, but only if you let it. Danger is real, but fear is a human emotion that one creates and thus can be handled. Can anything else in the world be as bad as what you are enduring now? If you are physically abused, please do not hesitate to go to the police or call 911. When you report the incident, legal proceedings begin against the abuser. If you have no other place to live and still feel threatened, then the police can take you to a safe place or shelter. It does not matter if you do or do not have legal documents to live within the United States, as a victim, you will get help to obtain a special visa, have free access to lawyers, psychologists, and if necessary, shelter and food. So call a shelter or 911, it’s the legal and safe way to get out of a violent relationship or abusive situation.

“…there are 35 million Mexicans living in the US of which 23 million were born in this country. …many faces are silenced for not being entitled to citizenship in a deafening anonymity...” Pope Francisco, Madison Square Garden, Nueva York
S
ince 2013 local authorities in the state of Texas are more wary of Mexican undocumented parents who wish to register their children born in this State. On September 8 the Texas Governor, Greg Abbot, visited Mexico City to meet with officials from the federal and local levels. However, the issue of children of Mexican parents who have been denied a birth certificate was not on the agenda for discussion, or at least on the public agenda. The main argument of the Texas civil authorities are that Mexican consular identification cards “are not verified by the issuing party.” Mexican authorities could have proposed the Texas Governor an additional verification system of consular ID cards. or, allow an external body to evaluate the criteria to ensure its authenticity and transparency. According to US statistics sources in the United States is home to 35 million Mexicans. of which, 23 million were born in this country. One of these Mexican-Americans (ie an American of Mexican descent) is Sophie Cross, 6-year-old, of Los Angeles. It was this little girl who gave Pope Francisco a poignant message: “My dad works hard in a factory welding pieces of metal ... All immigrants like my dad feed this country. So, they have the right to live with dignity, have the right to live with respect. Immigrants should be legalized because they have

earned it, they work hard, in factories, in the fields. “ Currently, there are millions of Mexican children who were born in America, but their parents are undocumented. In November 2014 President Barack Obama announced the implementation of deferred action for parental responsibility (Deferred Action for Parental Accountability-DAPA). This program would allow parents like parents like Sophie’s to start living with certainty. An estimated 1.9 million Mexican parents could benefit from this measure, which is suspended due to the failure of a district judge in the state of Texas. The visit of Pope Francisco to America, and his message of respect, recognition, integration and conciliation towards immigrants, should be a call to action by the authorities and society. Back in Texas, undocumented (as Sophie’s parents) who have children in the United States (as Sophie) are finding it difficult to register. In this situation, in May 2015, advocates of parents who are denied registration of their children filed a lawsuit of unconstitutionality before the District Court in Austin, Texas. To support this demand, in late August 2015, the government of Mexico filed an amicus curiae brief to the district court in charge of the case. The 14th Amendment
of the US Constitution states that “all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside” and states specifically that “no state shall make or any law shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States“. Only if we accompany our community in building roads that protect their rights, dignity and legal recourse, can we break this deafening anonymity. The Holy Father said:

he control of firearms in the United States has become a controversial issue, especially after an act of terror like the one that happened at an Oregon school, where an unstable person shot several students. When crimes like this happen, some citizens react by supporting the freedom to possess firearms; stating that if allowed to carry weapons in places like schools, they could prevent crimes like this from ever happening. On the other hand, some react by advocating the right to bear arms be suppressed, and additional regulations placed upon those who wish to purchase or own a gun. In short, people are given the right to gun ownership. The Second Amendment says: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed�. People have a right to bear arms for the defense of themselves and the State. On 28 June 2010 the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that no state or local law may restrict the

right to own or carry weapons which reinforces the Second Amendment. It is important to understand the difficulty involved in trying to remove an amendment to the United States Constitution. To make a constitutional amendment change, two-thirds of Congress must vote in favor of that change. For Congress to vote, a Constitutional Convention has to take place. Having a Constitutional Convention meet in order to change or remove an amendment could easily lead to other amendments being changed or altered. We have to remember that people are the ones who kill, not weapons. Cain killed Abel with a rock, must we exercise control over rocks? Should we regulate everything a person can use to kill another human being? I think it would be much easier to just educated society as a whole, about the proper use of weapons.

“Garbancera” Skull T
he history of “La Catrina” starts during the governments of Benito Juarez, Sebastian Lerdo de Tejada and Porfirio Diaz. During these periods, publications are written by the middle class, who criticized both the situation in the country and the generalizations made by the privileged class. Another segment of society that was disapproved were the “Garbancero” (people who sold chickpeas in open street markets), those who had native blood, but pretended to be European, thus denying their own culture, race and heritage. This is noticeable for the fact that the skull has no clothing but only a hat; from the point of view of Jose Guadalupe Posada (1852-1913) its creator, it criticizes the many Mexicans who wanted to live a European lifestyle that didn’t really attune with their actual lives. But it was Diego Rivera who named the skull as “La Catrina” and it was also he, who added a long dress and a shawl, the original Calaveras (Skulls) only had a bust with a hat. The “Catrinas” were published in various media outlets, including numerous newspapers, often accompanied by the famous “Cala-
veras (skull) poems on the eve of the “Day of the Dead”. Together, these are usually written as another manifestation of popular culture that not only represents the dead but even mocks the living, permanently reminding us all that death is but one heartbeat away. Posada used to say: “Death is democratic, because when it comes down to it, light or dark, rich or poor, everyone winds up being a skeleton”. The sugar skulls are decorated in bright colors and motifs, helping children understand, that death may be a bittersweet ending, but it’s also a part of normal life that should be celebrated, never mocked.

ear friends, welcome back at our fashion section. This week I worked with the “Habitual Magazine” team in New York, and as we all know, New York, along with Paris and Milan, are the three fashion capitals. But New York is undoubtedly the epicenter of the Fashion Business, no other place in the world where there are more executives per square foot, from day to night, from Park Avenue to Wall Street through Central Park and the New York subway. They are suits and more suits everywhere. But what is the best complement to a good suit? A tie, of course! Today we will speak about the tie, an accessory that defines itself any outfit in which we can imprint our mood; look elegant or casual, fun or formal, endless variations that help us to look different and fashionable. First I would like to give some tips on choosing

the tie for the occasion. As we know, fashion is a constant between design and proportion, and gentleman’s suit is the quintessence of it, for the perfect V-cut jacket makes our body look slimmer, the tie must accompany this symmetry being neither very long, much less short. There is nothing less elegant than a short tie. Likewise, ties should accompany the occasion. If we attend a day event, the tie should be of a light color, vibrant colors or prints. And conversely, if the event is a cocktail or dinner, the tie should be more sober, always depending on the colors you use to suit every occasion.
But there are certain sacred rules: the black tie is an imperative for a funeral, and barring a few occasions, we must wear them exclusively for this; and here are two more of my personal rules: 1. Do not use satin ties in light colors, much less with dark shirts. 2. Do not allow “HER� combine our tie with the color of her dress, leave this for twin kids, you have to have a personality of a gentleman, we need to show that we have a say, at least over this. Another thing to keep in mind, not less important, is the knot of the tie. One man does not graduate as a man, until you learn how to tie a knot. There are different types of knots, wide, thin, double, triple, simple, complicated, and a lot for every taste; but when choosing one, we must again consider the symmetry and the proportion of our neck and our face. As noted above, the purpose of wearing a suit and tie are to look elegant. Often the tie hides defects by an optical illusion, we will not achieve this goal if we do not use a tie and a knot according to our type of face and neck. Continuing our series of knots, we will talk about the American knot: this knot, Four-in-Hand, is the easiest to make and easier to combine with all kinds of shirt collars, from cutaway or open, to small spreads, or with buttons, widely used in the United States. It is a knot that goes well with all kinds of wideness; the wider, the better. The view is asymmetrical and elongated, which helps to stylize the neck. It is a classic and casual knot, yet very elegant. At the end of this article you will find two links to YouTube tutorials which show how to do this knot. You know now, friends, there are ties for everyone, thick, thin, silk, jacquard, knitted, plaid, diamond, polka dots or specks. hanksgiving Day originated long ago, during the colonial times of the United States. American settlers, had one of the worst farming crisis; hunting and fishing were unknown to them and they suffered from hunger, causing hundreds of deaths within their colonies. American Indians saw this crisis and took a very caring approach towards teaching the settlers how to plant corn, how to hunt, and brought plenty of food for them, resulting in the resolution of their crises quickly. The settlers hosted a dinner in which natives were invited to the celebration, the main dish was prepared with a turkey meal, giving way to the Thanksgiving Day. The occasion
merited the gratitude for the good things that had happened during the year. From then on, it was adopted to be held in late fall of each year, a tradition that has continued to this day. Thanksgiving Day is celebrated annually on the fourth Thursday of November, when families gather and give thanks for their blessings. In order to have the perfect holiday dinner, turkey must be one of the main dishes while pumpkin pie should be one of the main desserts. Together with this tradition, it is customary to give dinner to people in need, either in churches or in soup kitchens. Habitual Magazine wishes you and yours a happy Thanksgiving Day.
