Saw action in all 37 games…Led the team in points (59), goals (30) assists (29), points per game (1.59), and plus/minus (+30)… Broke the program-record for most goals, assists, and points in a season, as well as breaking the single-game point record when she tallied six points in a game against Sacred Heart…Was named ECAC Hockey Rookie and Player of the Year after leading the league in goals, points and game-winning goals. She is the first player in program-history to be named Player of the Year and is only the second skater to ever be awarded Rookie of the Year honors… Among all NCAA Division I Women’s Ice Hockey freshmen skaters, she finished first in goals, points, and points per game, while finishing second in assists…She was a two-time ECAC Hockey/MLX Skates Player of the Week and a five-time Rookie of the Week recipient and earned First-Team All-League and All-Rookie Team at season’s end…Babstock became just the second athlete in Quinnipiac history to receive mention in Sports Illustrated’s Weekly publication of its “Faces In The Crowd” section, when she was highlighted in the January 17, 2010 edition…She was named Quinnipiac Female Athlete of the Year, as well as the team Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player at the team’s annual banquet…Babstock netted two points in her Quinnipiac debut, scoring the game-winning goal against Niagara on 10/1 in a 3-0 win…She added a goal and two assists in a 3-1 win over Niagara on 10/2…She scored the game-winning goal and added an assist against Northeastern on 10/9 in a 4-0 victory…Recorded a goal and two assists in a 5-0 win over Sacred Heart on 10/10…Contributed a goal and two assists in a winning effort against Maine, 4-2, on 10/15… Assisted on all three goals in the team’s 3-3 tie to Boston College on 10/22…Scored the game-winning goal in consecutive games against Princeton (11/2) and Union (11/5), in 5-2 and 3-2 wins, respectively…Tallied her first-career hat trick on 11/12 against Harvard, which included the game-winning tally in a 4-1 victory…Scored her second hat trick in as many games when she netted three goals in a 4-3 loss to Dartmouth on 11/13…Assisted on the game-winning goal while also adding a goal of her own on 12/3 in a 4-0 win over Brown…Netted the game-winning goal against Yale on 12/4 in a 3-1 victory…Assisted on the game’s first goal during the team’s 3-2 in over St. Lawrence on 1/7…Tallied her third hat trick of the season with the last goal coming in overtime to propel the Bobcats to a 3-2 victory over Clarkson on 1/8…Scored her first short-handed goal of her career against Clarkson on 1/28 in a 3-2 loss…Registered another short-handed goal the following game against St. Lawrence on 1/29 in a 4-2 win…Scored two goals including the game-winning tally on 2/4 against Dartmouth in a 4-0 victory…Collected a goal and an assist in a 3-2 loss to Harvard on 2/5…Assisted on the team’s only goal in a 1-1 tie against New Hampshire on 2/8…Figured in all five goals (two goals, three assists) in the team’s 5-1 win over Rensselaer on 2/11…Scored two goals including the game-winning tally against Union in a 4-0 victory on 2/12…Assisted on the game-winning goal against Princeton in a 2-1 victory in the team’s first game of the ECAC Hockey playoffs on 2/25…Scored the game-winning goal and assisted on the second goal of the team’s 2-0 win over Princeton on 2/26, propelling the team to its first-ever Semi-Finals appearance in the ECAC Hockey playoffs.
