We’re N0. 1! The women’s basketball team made QU history in March when it defeated the St. Francis (PA) Red Flash to become the 2013 Northeast Conference champion and head to the NCAA tournament for the first time after a spectacular 30–2 season. The season was cut short during the tournament’s opening round when the No. 13-seeded Bobcats lost to the No. 4-seeded University of Maryland Terrapins, 72–52.
