About Us Qabiria is managed by three professional translators, sharing similar and complementary fields of specialization.We decided to put our collective overall experience of almost 20 years to good use, offering translation companies what they need most: reliability and technical expertise. SERGIO ALASIA Sergio studied Spanish Philology in Turin, graduating with honours, after a time in the Canary Islands, teaching Italian as a second language. He moved to Barcelona and embarked on a career as a technical and literary translator and editor. He then joined a Bertelsmann company specialized in technical documentation. As a project manager, he managed more than 1.5 million words per year. Furthermore, he actively participated in the implementation of the new corporate ERP, which gave him the opportunity to extend his knowledge of open source software and general IT, which now form the basis of his daily tasks at Qabiria.
MARCO CEVOLI M a r c o holds a master’s degree in Multimedia Design and Production, and a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature . He has worked as a freelance translator since 1997. In Italy, he participated in the development of an international NGO, before specializing in web design. In Spain, he spent four years in a mult i n a t i o n a l c o m p a ny belonging to the Bertelsmann group, as director of the Translation Department. While there, he also coordinated the reassessment o f t h e Tr a n s l a t i o n Department of the Brazilian subsidiary.After several projects as a strategic consultant he decided to put his knowledge of the sector to specific use by creating Qabiria.

CHIARA ARCHITTA After graduating in Modern languages and literature in Italy, Chiara obtained a master’s degree in Interpreting and Translation at the University of Bath, England.After working at the European Parliament's translation unit for a short period of time, she joined the Michelin Group. During the eight years with the company, she specialised in marketing and communications, spending four years in France and four in the US. Chiara's latest position was Communications Manager for the Michelin Earthmover Tire Division. She moved to Spain in March 2009 and joined Qabiria, where she currently manages various translation, consulting and communication projects.
