Prof. Sujatha Vijayaraghavan A citation of appreciation was awarded by the Sahitya Akademi for the translation of “Ramarisivanam”, an episode from the Muduva oral “Ramayana”, into English, which was an entry submitted for the Sahitya Akademi Golden Jubilee Celebrations Translation Competition (2007-2008), in January 2009.
