40 YEARS OF WOMEN’S ATHLETICS CELEBRATING OUR HISTORY
Providence College celebrated 40 Years of Women’s Athletics, and hosted a spectacular series of events during Alumni & Family Weekend held on February 10-12, 2012. The celebration was well attended by many former female student-athletes, spanning the previous four decades. It also provided an opportunity for current student-athletes, coaches and administrators to become engaged in the rich tradition and history of our women’s athletic programs. Each attendee was honored at halftime of the women’s basketball game vs. Seton Hall on February 11 at Alumni Hall. Prior to the game, a reception was held in the Ruane Atrium.
