We adopted beaches which we cleaned and placed signs with environmental messages.
We traced dumpsites near the sea and informed the local authorities.
We gave out informative brochures containing simple but useful advice about the protection of the environment.
We gave out leaflets with instructions about keeping the sea clean to the local fishermen.
We created art works from useless materials.
We created art works about sea life.
We staged a play titled <<The clean beach>>.
We created a board game about the sea world and environment.
We created a maritime crossword puzzle.
We visited the maritime museum.
We talked about issues of sea pollution and protection with the president of the Kalymnian fishermenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s association.
We created an environmental exhibition.
Spurred by the world day for the protection of the environment we created audiovisual material which was publicized by the local mass media.
