ABOUT
Enterprise Risk Management
It is coordinated activities to direct and control an organization with regard to risk. It is considered as an important factor to ensure the organization›s sustainability and achievement of its objectives. Each organization has to work to manage its risk (the uncertain events) that surrounds its internal and external environment; as they have a significant impact on the achievement or non-achievement of objectives, directly or indirectly, as a result of dependence and/ or interdependence of events’ consequence. Such a level of interference requires management of risks, in accordance with the contemporary concept, known now as the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), which goes beyond the old and traditional concept that deals with the events separately, known as Silos Risk Management. The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) helps organizations manage the uncertain events (risk) in its internal and external environment, efficiently and effectively, to contribute to the optimal exploitation of available opportunities. It also works to build an organizational risk management framework that is interactive with all units, levels, activities and action plans. It starts from the organization’s strategic level to confirm an agreement on all activities’ input and output to achieve the organization›s objectives, taking in consideration the complications of uncertain events and the reliability of their occurrence to identify priorities and responses from a scientific perspective and analysis within the principle of cost benefit analysis. The ERM has a significant impact on proactively strengthening the readiness of organizations towards the opportunities and to ensure their flexibility within an integrated neutral discipline that combines exploitation of opportunities, safety, security and efficient management for undesired events; in order to ensure smooth business continuity and accelerate making good decisions that seek to achieve sustainability of organization and desired objectives.

Researching services Jrmc conducts studies and researches in the field of risk management and its applications, in addition to identifying and analyzing the level of knowledge and practical awareness for employees and organizations. We conduct necessary studies to know the factors that cause undesired events to happen and thereby submit recommendations that work on reducing and/ or controlling them.

PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS: JRMC is keen on providing professional programs that bridge the gap of insufficient practical experience among those interested in the field of risk management in the Arab region. Therefore, we contracted with the best suppliers of professional programs that proved high efficiency in building and refining key skills of risk management for its members, shortly.
Professional risk management This is a European program, owned and run in cooperation with Euro Risk limited, the entrepreneur and franchiser. It was designed by its director, Professor Bruno BrĂźhwiler, manager of risk management standards development projects for the Governments of Switzerland and Austria. He developed this program to help the Swiss and Austrian organizations develop the skills of their risk management staff, according to the best scientific and professional practices that are compatible with the best international practices, risk standards of these countries, which is the enterprise risk management, according to ISO 2009:31000. This program proved high efficiency and effectiveness in Switzerland and Austria. More than 2,500 persons were qualified to join the profession of risk management. Also later, it was adopted in France after its graduates proved efficiency and high professionalism in the performance of their work within the risk management processes. At the end of the program, a certification, endorsed by Euro Risk limited and JRMC that certifies that the member of the program completed all requirements of the program successfully and deserves the degree of Professional Risk Manager.
American program (Risk Manager) This program is run in collaboration with San Diego State University, which was developed by the International Risk Expert Adjunct Prof. Mark Sigel, director of Homeland Security Graduate Program. Arab risk management awareness project As part of our responsibility toward the improvements of risk management practices in our region, Jrmc launched Arab Risk Management Awareness project, it aims to help the Arab region learn about the new concept of risk management (Enterprise Risk Management) and its large contribution in reducing and controlling organizational threats, as well as achieving their objectives.
