The Village Stores will be open Wed-Fri 7.00am-8.00pm & Saturday 7.00am-6.00pm and will provide provisions i.e. bread, milk, papers, toiletries and stamps.
HEALTH & HYGIENE
We want all our visitors to have an enjoyable experience when visiting our show and to take advantage of the opportunity to see and interact with a range of farm animals. Show animals are generally very clean but there is a small risk of infection through any animal contact especially for young children. Please use a common sense approach to hygiene when you have been touching animals or their pens and ensure that you and your children wash their hands with soap and water and dry them with the hand towels/dryers provided. You will find signage to your nearest hand washing facilities around the show site. If you are unsure where this is please ask one of our show staff.
INFORMATION KIOSKS
Manned from 9.00am to 5.30pm on each day and situated at Blue, Green, Purple and Yellow entrances, in the Horse Lines and on the edge of Avenue B and on Tenth Avenue.
The Society will be conducting a visitor exit survey to help improve the show for future years. Visit our website for further information and win great prizes.
CATALOGUES AND SUPPLEMENTS
Equine catalogues available for sale at £5.00 each. Booths sited alongside the information kiosks (see above list of locations). Livestock supplements available for sale at £1.00 each at the Livestock Stewards Office.
DISABLED FACILITIES
Cloakroom facilities and access ramps to various features on the showground are provided. Disabled car parking is available in the YELLOW car park. A limited number of wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs and electric scooters are available for a daily charge.
DOGS
The Show organisers and Vets request that if any dogs are brought to the show, they must be kept on leads at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the Livestock lines, Floral Art Marquee, Village Green, Restaurants or any other food areas.
CRÈCHE/BABY FEEDING AND CHANGING FACILITY/ LOST CHILDREN The Next Steps Childcare Centre, situated next to the main gates will be open from 8:00am-8:00pm Wednesday – Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm Saturday, providing a crèche for youngsters (2-7 year olds). Small children can be left in safe hands to play while mums and dads enjoy the Show for an hour or two on their own. Lost children can be taken to the centre. There are also facilities available for nursing mothers and a changing facility for babies.

■ The National Cheese Awards have been held at the Royal Bath and West Show for a number of years, with a strong focus on Britain’s great traditional cheese and particularly of course Cheddar. The joining forces with British Cheese Awards will broaden the schedule and range of entries and highlight the explosion in the number and diversity of modern British cheese’s now made with cow, goat, sheep and even buffalo milk.
