NEED A PLACE TO WORK? Are you creative? Our uninstructed art group shares a large studio space that can accommodate all sorts of arts and crafts. We offer a wonderful facility with excellent light, plentiful table space, and great amenities all for a reasonable price. The group includes artists who are working on paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor, on drawings, collage, beading and scrapbooking. Each week we share our love of art and art history, an informal exchange of ideas, and even some nibbles! Bring your supplies, join us and be creative! 21.129

Create your own leaded or copper foiled stained glass window for yourself or as a gift. Learn how to use the tools and techniques to create a wonderful and satisfying piece of art glass. Intro to Mosaics for Adults

with Laurel Street Arts In this class, you’ll design and create your own art glass mosaic. Have fun and learn new skills whether you plan on making larger projects in the future, or just want to experiment with a new craft. You’ll learn about designing mosaics, different types of glass tesserae, cutting tools, adhesives, and grouting your finished project. Students will design and create a plaque for interior display. In this 1 1/2 hour workshop you’ll design and assemble glass elements to create a beautiful glass lampshade. We’ll fire your creation in the kiln to fuse in to a beautiful art piece, then fire it again to drape it into a lampshade and assemble your very own handmade lamp. Lab Fee: $100 including

Glass Fusing 101

with Laurel Street Arts Learn to make beautiful fused glass art the easy way! Use the pre-cut components of our glass fusing center, learn how to cut your own glass, and assemble 2 easy projects. In this workshop you’ll make an 8” plate or bowl and a pendant, we’ll show you how to assemble pieces using glass blanks, stringers, frit, and pieces of<br>sparkling dichroic glass. Our instructor will fuse and slump your pieces in our kilns. You can pick them up in two weeks and enjoy! All materials included, no art or glass experience needed.
