Finding beauty in the mundane, Brooklyn-based designer Kiel Mead scours the shores of New York State for beached driftwood, which he stains and processes into a useful wall hook. With variances in shades and sizes, each is a unique piece. Mead’s designs have been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, InStyle, and New York magazine.
