• EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: Register in person by April 5, 2013 and receive 10% of f each child. (*excludes Zoo Camp) • MULTIPLE CHILD DISCOUNT: After April 5, register one child at full price and get a 5% discount for each additional child. Camp discounts are not available online. • AVOID A PAYMENT CRUNCH: Take advantage of our scheduled plan that allows you to spread out camp payments between now and May 24.
• SPOTS ARE LIMITED! Please register at least one business day before camp starts to ensure your child’s spot in the camp. • REFUND POLICIES: The Park District must receive a written request to drop or transfer at least two business days in advance of the first program date. No refunds will be issued after that time. A $5.00 service charge is made for each session dropped or transferred. • SUMMER CAMP REFUNDS: The above policy is in effect through May 24. After this date, the Park District must receive written
notice of a camp cancellation at least two business days in advance of the camp start date. No FULL refunds will be issued; registrants will receive a 50% refund for each camp session dropped. • FEES: Fees are listed as: R = Resident (of Park District) and NR = Non-resident. The Resident fee is paid by those who live/pay taxes within Park District boundaries. Koerner Rd, Edwards (Conveniently located near Shoppes at Grand Prairie / Charter Oak Road) Ancient Oaks Day Camp is all about having fun and educational experiences in the great outdoors. Weekly themes reflect on a variety of fun events and plenty of hands-on activities. Located on 320 acres, Sommer Park consists of woods, open fields, hiking trails, ponds and a neighborhood park. Camp tours available by appointment. Ancient Oaks Day Camp is the best place to be this summer! We’re celebrating our 42nd season of memories for children and adults. Ancient Oaks Camp Extended Care: If the camp time (8:30 am-4:00 pm) does not fit your work/ personal schedule, supervision is available at camp from 7:00-8:30 am and 4:00-5:30 pm. Cost is $15 per week per child. Parents are responsible for transportation. Camp Fee-R/NR: $113 /$133

We have more fun than ever, mixing the best of past camp activities with new ideas to make this year’s program legit. Fun, non-competitive action themes, with activities like sports, games, arts and crafts, nature programs, fishing, special events, family nights, weekly swimming, and road trips (special trips). CampZone Camps are for boys and girls ages 6-12. Camp runs for 10 one-week sessions and meets Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Extended CampZone Care hours are 6:45 am - 8:30 am and 3:30-5:30 pm. A CampZone bag, extended care, and special trip admissions are included in your fee. Campers must bring their own lunch. Come join us for Early Learners, a half-day preschool program for ages 4-5. Games, crafts, playtime, lead-up sport activities, and new friends make learning fun and natural. Our activities focus on socialization, and early childhood motor development. Camp meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Students will be separated into age by a grant from the appropriate groups and skill levels. Individual expression encouraged. Come join the cast and crew of Peoria’s premier performing arts camp. Our talented staff and special “guest stars” will instruct you in drama, dance, and musical skills while you and your fellow campers write your own play to be performed at the Glen Oak Park Amphitheatre. ZOO CAMP: GRADES K-8
At Peoria Zoo, 2218 N. Prospect Road in Glen Oak Park Registration for Zoo Camp is through the Peoria Zoo only. Please call 681-3559 or email jroderick@peoriaparks.org to register. Do you love animals, science, or just plain-old having fun? Zoo Camp at the Peoria Zoo is a week-long day camp program for children with a focus on learning about our animal residents. This year we will explore all types of animals and even consider what you would do if you ran the Zoo! Camp fees include a “zoo-riffic” t-shirt and group picture of the campers. Each Zoo camper will experience a program especially designed to meet the needs, interests and expectations appropriate to their age and developmental stage, so it is important that the age guidelines are followed. Please do not request to enroll children in other age categories. Every program includes the following activities: Animal Encounters, Science Experiments, Crafts, Story Telling, Games, and more! »» Registration is required. The program emphasizes training, techniques and teamwork while offering some of the most experienced coaches in the area. It’s Easy to Join PAWW The PAWW Swim Team is open to anyone who can perform a simple swim stroke – there are no try-outs. PAWW coaches are on hand Monday through Friday after 5:30 pm at our partner pools. All levels are welcome. RIVERPLEX SPRING BREAK CAMP: AGES 5-12
Every week is a water week! Our program provides a wide variety of activities including: playing in our indoor AquaPlex as well as our outdoor water/sand play area; arts and crafts; and health, fitness, and sports activities in our climate-controlled arena. In addition, we access the Rolling River playground, the RiverFront biking/walking trail, the downtown fountain and much more. Counselors are trained in leadership, safety procedures, activities and supervisory skills. Children will be grouped according to age. Campers should bring their own lunch, swimsuit and towel on a daily basis. Drinks and snacks will be provided in the afternoon. All field trips and activities are subject to change. Field trip information will be available at a later date. Sign up early as spots are limited to the first 80 children. Fantasy Land: Calling all Super Heroes or Disney Princesses. Create your own storybook and reenact your book with other characters from camp. Plan on wearing your favorite costume Friday.

Island Explorer: We’ll go on an expedition around the world learning how to live, dance, and play like other cultures and compete in some Survivor-style challenges.

Mud Pie: We’ll have a dino dig in mud, slip-n-slide in goop or mud and crawl through a muddy obstacle course. Please don’t wear anything that you don’t want muddy.
Our trained staff will provide a variety of activities- games, arts and crafts, swimming in our Aquaplex and lots of fun during spring break camp. Bring your own lunch and drink and we will provide an afternoon snack and drink. Space is limited to 30 children and spots will fill up fast. Camp runs from 7:00 am-5:30 pm.
