Duodo Palazzo Barbarigo is a stately residence located in the heart of the most elegant part of Venice, a few steps away from Piazza San Marco and Rialto bridge. Already belonged to the noble family of Duodo Barbarigo, who between ‘500 and ‘600 gave a Doge in Venice and a Patriarch. The palace was originally used as a “casino”, that is, according to the old Venetian tradition, a place of leisure where the aristocrats used to entertain themselves, talk, play... usually after the theater. All the rooms overlook a typical Venetian canal and are extremely bright. Finishes and decorations of the interior are original eighteenth century and give the house a unique charm and appeal.
