+ How did you come to idea of using specific symbolic to connect a story and storyteller on your photographs? I was thinking about this project for a long time. I wanted the colors in the photos to correspond to the images of elves. I also wanted to portray the people in a manner in which elves are normally perceived.
+ Come hai avuto l’idea di usare una simbolica specifica per collegare la storia e il narratore nelle tue fotografie? Ho pensato a questo progetto per molto tempo. Volevo che i colori nelle foto corrispondessero alle immagini degli elfi. Allo stesso modo volevo ritrarre le persone nella maniera in cui solitamente sono percepiti gli elfi.
+ Is there a magic on Iceland? The light on Iceland is magic. For the first time in my life I took a picture at 2 am in daylight. It was incredible. On Iceland when you work in summertime you don’t have to worry about the light, which is there for 24 hours a day. The colors seem as if they were out of this world.
+ C’è della magia in Islanda? La luce in Islanda è magica. Per la prima volta nella mia vita ho scattato una foto alle 2 di notte con la luce del giorno. Era incredibile. In Islanda quando lavori d’ estate non devi preoccuparti della luce, perché c’è 24 ore su 24. I colori sembrano di un altro mondo.
