Step 1. Sign in Firstly, you have to register Cart2Cart account or log in with your existing Google or Facebook account.
Step 2. Choose Source Cart Select Magento from a menu. After that, enter your web store’s URL. Then install Connection Bridge on your Computer. You have performed that in order to give us access to shop’s data. First of all, you have to download it. After that extract bridge from zip archive and paste to the root directory using FTP client. Step 3. Choose Target Cart According to the same principle, pick Shopify from the drop-down menu and insert online store’s URL. As Shopify is hosted shopping cart, you don’t have to set up Connection Bridge but provide API Key and API Password. To do that you have to:
enter your Shopify admin panel go to Apps menu and click link to activate private application copy API Key and API Password and paste to appropriate fields in wizard
Step 4. Select Entities At this point, you have to select entities, which have to be moved to Shopify. You are also able to select additional option to clear current data on target store before migration. It is a free option. Cart2Cart doesn’t delete store data from your platform during migration process. However, it is strongly recommended to backup your database first.
Step 4. Multi-store Configuration For better convenience, Cart2Cart provides a possibility to pick target stores that will be migrated to one default Shopify store.
Step 5. Map Currencies On this step, you are able to map currencies set in your Magento store to once that will be displayed in the Shopify.
