The newly renovated JELD-WEN Field opened on April 14, 2011, in front of a sold-out crowd in the Timbers first-ever home match as an MLS team. The club proceeded to sell out 34 consecutive regular season home games in the team’s first two MLS seasons, even after raising the 86-year-old downtown venue’s capacity from 18,627 to 20,438 after the first season. The club holds an 19-10-11 overall regular-season home record as of May 18.
