A product of the Timbers U-23s, Evans signs as the club’s second Homegrown Player. The Portland native played four seasons with the Timbers U-23s from 2009-12, helping the team win the 2010 PDL championship. He ranks among the team’s alltime leaders in games played and goals. Evans had three standout seasons at the University of Portland during his collegiate career, earning All-West Coast Conference honors all three seasons.

Nanchoff joins the Timbers in 2013 after playing his first two professional seasons in MLS with Vancouver Whitecaps FC. He was selected No. 8 overall as a member of Generation adidas by Vancouver in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft after a standout collegiate career at the University of Akron. Nanchoff played under Timbers head coach Caleb Porter at Akron and helped the Zips make back-to-back NCAA College Cup Finals appearances (2009-10) and win the National Championship in 2010. 2012: Appeared in nine games (1 start) for Whitecaps FC during the regular season ... Logged a season-high 59 minutes on July 14, 2012, against Chicago. 2011: Battling injuries during his first MLS season, Nanchoff appeared in five matches for Vancouver as a rookie

Set up a goal by Brent Richards in a 2-2 draw June 18 against the Chivas USA Reserves ... Played 30 minutes in overtime of a third-round loss to Cal FC in the 2012 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup ... Notched an assist and was one of only two Timbers players to log the full 90 in a friendly against EPL side Aston Villa FC on July 24 ... Played the second half of a friendly against Spanish club Valencia CF on May 23 ... Was on the match-day roster for three regular-season matches ...
