New! Private Music Lessons

Music - Guitar For All Ages age: 6-13 Group music lessons are not only affordable, but offer much more to the student than learning an instrument. The ability to play with other musicians benefits the student on many different levels. Whether a new beginner or a continuing player, music education is important to brain development & can help students aptitude in all other areas of study. This class is geared towards beginning to intermediate level musicians. Students learn at their own pace in a safe & encouraging group setting. Students bring their own instrument.

All private music lessons are ½ hour in length. Registration taken only through MDCC. Students may register at any time during the term, if space is available. The fee will be prorated. Current students will have the opportunity to pre-register for the upcoming terms to maintain their lesson day & time. Deadlines are stated on your receipts. Meet the instructors! Adam Brock is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Portland State University with a BM in Jazz Performance. He has attended the EWU Jazz Dialog Summer Camp, Berklee Guitar Workshop, & the Port Townsend Jazz Camp.

Brian Parham is a graduate of the Portland

Community College Professional Music Program with a 4.0 GPA & a four-time Presidential Award winner for academic excellence. He began studying guitar at the San Francisco Community Music Center under the tutelage of blues/jazz/& rock guitar virtuosos David Haas & Patrick Greene. He has also studied at the Blue Bear School of Music under San Francisco blues guitar legend Johnny Nitro. Brian is passionate about teaching & committed to giving the gift of music back to the local community.

Brian Lehfeldt has 30 yrs experience playing in multi platinum bands. He has played on Jay Leno, Letterman, Conan & Woodstock ‘99. He is respected world round as one of the drummers to develop the “blast beat”. He loves teaching both beginners & seasoned players with a teaching style designed to motivate & develop skills of all levels & styles.
