use something like this.” The site of the market is between the two businesses and can be expanded to the east side parking lot of Whiskey Gulch. “We’ll have up to 23 vendors on one side, then add 10 more in the other parking lot, if needed,” Smith said. “We can hold up to 33 each week.” Smith said the market is not competing with the Port Orchard Farmers’ Market, which is scheduled each Saturday until October. The market will consist of vendors who sell old vinyl records, paper art, flea market furniture, all natural soap and rustic and redeemed furniture. “It’s just a little bit of everything,” Smith said. “We want to call it a ‘treasure hunt each
weekend.’ So it will be different each weekend.” Businesses in the streetfront storage units will be open during the market. Live music will be performed each Sunday at the market, starting with Fly By Jazz. Smith said there will be several food vendors, including a hot dog stand and Mexican food truck. Whiskey Gulch will also be open. Visitors can park free in the Kitsap Transit parking lot. There is no Sunday ferry service to Annapolis. Dogs are welcome. The Annapolis Sunday Market is set to kick off April 27 with more than 15 vendors featuring a wide variety of “flea market, chic-style” items. The market, which is free to the public, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will feature vendors offering urban crafts, antiques, original fashion, collectibles, vintage, furniture, tools, food and world imports. Samantha Smith, owner of Josephine’s Redeemed Boutique in Annapolis, said the market is the “brain child” of Whiskey Gulch Coffee Co. and Annapolis Fitness owner Rob McKee. “Rob loves the Fremont Sunday Market and loves the idea of small businesses being able to thrive in a community,” Smith said. “We talked about it last summer. So we researched other markets and thought Port Orchard could
