Javier (below) and brother Bubba (left) came to VIPP when the caretaker for a new baby in the family turned out to be highly allergic to cats. Javier is the laid back of the two letting Bubba soak up all the attention. Javier is a big lug of love who likes to be picked up and held and enjoys any lap time that he can steal when Bubba is otherwise occupied. They have been together since they were rescued as kittens. These guys are members of the Purrfect Pairings with a discount on the adoption fee. Javier came to VIPP on 11/9/13.

All the folks at VIPP remember Lilly’s tennis ball moment and it’s been impressive to watch her doing the hard work to earn herself a family ever since. She’s dropped just under 15 pounds and, at age five, is looking as fit as ever. While she may look small due to her Boxer/Corgi heritage, don’t let that fool you as she’s now down to 55 lbs of happy, active, welladjusted dog operating at the level of your knees. Lily is excellent on a leash, well-behaved and come, sit, lie down, stay and rollover are all in her repertoire as is up though at knee height you may not notice the difference.
