Independent schooling on rise
Over the past 10 years (2002-2012), the enrolment of independent schools in B.C. has increased by approximately 9,500 students, or 15 per cent. So says the Federation of Independent School Associations (FISA), an umbrella association for independent school groups in British Columbia; FISA also acts as a spokesperson and advocate for its members, representing more than 90 per cent of the independent school enrolment in B.C.
