Thankfulness By Maddy Colling Through life Things change, people move on But one thing you have forever that’s free, is love. If you’re cold, hungry, angry or tired When seeking for love, you can’t push nor shove, Not just physically but emotionally too. Accept things when they are given with kindness Remember... be thankful for what you have and who you love. For some people don’t have food, shelter, family or school, Just themselves to talk to and their hands as a tool. They sleep in boxes and beg for money, When some of us are filthy rich... Isn’t it funny? Some people actually fight to survive while some of us live the dream. The point is, be thankful, Be respectful, And remember, it never hurts to lend a hand.
