• Feb. 2 to 9 marks Turn Down the Heat Week, a downtown Maple Ridge event sponsored by FortisBC and the Downtown Maple Ridge BIA and BIABC. The event promotes energy conservation while benefitting those in need locally. People are encouraged to lower the setting on their thermostats, wear a sweater to stay warm,
