A glorified sym'bol of the Old West, a11 authentic 100-year-old covered wagon decked with thousands of golden daffodils, proved to be the winner in Saturday's Daffodil parade in Tacoma, taking. first place over floats entered by many much larger cities and cornm,Jmities. Entered by the Parkland Round~up to create public interest in this year's big Roundup celebration June 10 to 13, the float represented a tremendous amount of planning and work and was acclaimed a real credit to the entire community.
