Wilbert M. Ericson and h is congregation celeb rated the 85th anni­ versary of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Auro ra, III, on April 2 2. They also ded icat­ ed the new entra nce, offices, elevator and handicapped access ible bathrooms. He gave a lecture series on Japan at a local college May 3 and 1 0. From May 3 1 st to J u n e 6th he visited Europe and also saw t h e Oberammergau Passion Play For Wilb ert, retirement continues to be busy, challenging and fulfilling. They are liVing in the oldest historical quarter at Fort Sam Houston and are enjoying the area very much. Angie contin ues to teach water­ color and oil painting classes, is an active member of several art groups, and gives art lectures and demonstrations.

Mary is an associate professor of n u rsing at Fort HayS State Un iversity, Hays, Kans. Pamela J. Indahl earned her J . D. in 1 988 and was admitted to the Washi ng­ ton, Idaho and Virginia bars. She is resid­ ing in Ivory Coast, West Africa with her husband, who is in the foreign service, and children. Pamela d i rects a U.5.G. Grant - mental health and com m u n ity services program. Sharon Smith teaches vocal music at Hartman and Dundee e l e m e nt a ry schoolS in Omaha, Nebr. She was a guest conductor for the All-City Music Festival at the Omaha City Auditorium on Feb. 1 0 . S h e con ducted the 7 50-mem b e r sixth-grade chorus. She h a s a master's degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson.

On April 20th she was awarded the "Special Education Teacher of the Year" award by the Washington State Special Education Coalition at the 5th Annual Coalition Ban­ quet Lt. J1m puttJer recently received the Navy Commendation Medal and se rves as command chaplain on the USS Sterett, homeported in Subic Bay, the Philippines. Wife, Linda is a subst itute teacher in the Department of Defense Schools on base. Daughters Krista (1 1 ) and Mai-Britt

They swam in a Hong King meet in May Auburn (WashJ Mayor Bob Roegner worked for Seattle'S Employment Securi­ ty Depart m e n t in 1 969 d u r i n g t h e "Boeing Crash . " H e recalls l o n g lines and end less stories about people who had lost everyt hing. Now, Boe i n g i s doing much better and Roegner feels that "a Boeing downtu rn p r obably w o u l d n ' t cause t h e catastrophe it did in 1 970, b u t i t would still b e quite damaging." Soldotna High School. They only have four more. years until retirement from the Alaska school sys­ tem. Erin (Cross) KIngston received her masters in social work from the univ . of Washington i n June of 1 989. She did her intern s h i ps at Western State Hospital and Downtown Emergency Service Cen­ ter, a Seattle homeless shelter. Her spe­ cialt ies are in c h ronic mental illness, homelessness, and c l inical therapy She works as vice president of a non-profit corporation - Lakes Area Homeless Asso­ ciation - to estab lish a shelter and coor­ di nate social m i nist ries of Lakewood churches. Dr. Jennifer MCDonald works in a group practice in Va ncouver, Wash. Her t h i rd ch ild, Colin A. L. McDonald·Smith was born prematurely in 1 988 and wil be two on J u ly 3. 1974 WIlliam Hanrahan, of Ch icago, a lyric bass, has performed extensively i n the U.S, a n d i n 1 98 8 participated i n a concert tour in E u rope. He has been fea­ tu red as a soloist in concert, oratorio, and liturgical settings. He has appeared with the New York P h i l h a rmonic as a member of the National Choral Artists. Recently, he was seen in solo roles i n productions o f contemporary operas a t Alice Tully Hall a n d Avery Fisher Hall a t Lincoln Center, New York City H e . h as enjoyed operatic appearances with the Minnesota Opera, Aspen Opera Theatre, Brooklyn Opera Center, the Center for Contemporary Opera i n New York, and the Little Orchestra SOCiety of New York.
