Ericson and h is congregation celeb rated the 85th anni versary of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Auro ra, III, on April 2 2. They also ded icat ed the new entra nce, offices, elevator and handicapped access ible bathrooms. He gave a lecture series on Japan at a local college May 3 and 1 0. From May 3 1 st to J u n e 6th he visited Europe and also saw t h e Oberammergau Passion Play For Wilb ert, retirement continues to be busy, challenging and fulfilling. Now, Boe i n g i s doing much better and Roegner feels that "a Boeing downtu rn p r obably w o u l d n ' t cause t h e catastrophe it did in 1 970, b u t i t would still b e quite damaging." Erin (Cross) KIngston received her masters in social work from the univ . of Washington i n June of 1 989. She did her intern s h i ps at Western State Hospital and Downtown Emergency Service Cen ter, a Seattle homeless shelter. Her spe cialt ies are in c h ronic mental illness, homelessness, and c l inical therapy She works as vice president of a non-profit corporation - Lakes Area Homeless Asso ciation - to estab lish a shelter and coor di nate social m i nist ries of Lakewood churches. 1974 WIlliam Hanrahan, of Ch icago, a lyric bass, has performed extensively i n the U.S, a n d i n 1 98 8 participated i n a concert tour in E u rope. He has been fea tu red as a soloist in concert, oratorio, and liturgical settings. He has appeared with the New York P h i l h a rmonic as a member of the National Choral Artists. Recently, he was seen in solo roles i n productions o f contemporary operas a t Alice Tully Hall a n d Avery Fisher Hall a t Lincoln Center, New York City H e . h as enjoyed operatic appearances with the Minnesota Opera, Aspen Opera Theatre, Brooklyn Opera Center, the Center for Contemporary Opera i n New York, and the Little Orchestra SOCiety of New York. He also owns his own real estate b roker age, condom i n i u m ma i ntenan ce and rental management business, and for the last 8 years has worked fer the Lutheran c h u rches.
