The Harmony Fusion Chorus, formerly known as the Harmony Crossroads Chorus, is the Alameda County chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a nonprofit organization promoting four-part a cappella harmony for women. Harmony Fusion Chorus is available for performances using either full chorus or small group. Las Positas College offers a full range of music classes, both for the music major and the recreational musician. Students can earn an associate’s degree in music, prepare for transfer to a four-year university or earn a certificate in piano teaching. Classes in individual performance include piano, voice, guitar, as well as classes in musical theater that combine drama and music. These classes can accommodate beginning through advanced students.
